She is spreading rumors that she is Daryl's girlfriend!!!!!

She couldn’t be a serious girlfriend, unless she got an official Daryl’s Crew shirt. Seven of these just came today.

Yeah, all these years of cruising, and we will be one of “those” families with matching shirts. 🤣🤣

Wonder if I will be able to order them individually, and have it covered under my package?

I mentioned that one of my garden beds is being used by my DD to grow tulips.  Last week 395 were picked from the bed.

Today they picked 184!  While picking occasionally a stem will break.   Those become flowers for our house!

Here is what Kenzie thinks when she hears tulips.

BTW,  she found Sharon's glasses. The pic above was taken after she realized she was wearing them upside-down.

I love tulips and the garden is beautiful. Wished I could grow them down here. All I can do is buy them as potted plants.

I've got my eye out for balcony furniture. I'd like something more comfy than what royal offers. This balcony looks like the lounger has a cushion. Some cushions you need to bring them in out of the weather I have been told. I'll need some other furniture too.

Saw this article that 2 calif towns had decreases in price in the top ten. Lol and miami is #1 decreased prices. Some deals to be had. ..but I wanted water and walking trails and a quieter way of life. Downtown miami isnt it .. but probably good investment.

1. Balcony lounger

2. Condos glut in miami. If it isnt really single family houses or miami beach .. downtown condos are down even more than the % shown.

A few nights ago I must have scratched myself in my sleep.  Woke up with a red raised sore spot.  Unfortunately on my chest just where my bra would rub against it.  So I put a bandage on it.  That night when removing the bandage I find the skin on my chest/upper tummy is evidently sensitive to the adhesive of the bandage.  Sigh.  Now I have irritated red splotches surrounding the red sore.  Called my PA to get a referral to my dermatologist to hopefully get the original spot frozen and some soothing ointment.

Then I pick up Minnie to carry her from the bathroom to the bedroom.  Do this every night.  But last night suddenly our neighbor’s alarm system goes off.  Poor Minnie is startled/frightened and catapults herself off my chest.  I know she didn’t mean to hurt me but she deployed her claws to get maximum thrust.  So now my chest and both arms are shredded.  And I know I can’t put a bandage on my chest.

So George has to swab me down with alcohol and put gauze pads and surgical tape on the slashes.  This morning I find I’m sensitive to the surgical tape the same as the bandage adhesive.  I now have slashes AND large red irritated areas on my abdomen.  Sigh.  I shower and go buy bandages for sensitive skin and am thankful I don’t earn my living as a porn star because I look like the proverbial dog’s dinner!

I think it could be latex in the bandages that you’re allergic to. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have the same issues with bandages. When I worked in aquaculture I had to wear latex gloves. My hands started turning red and very itchy. I finally figured it out and now always buy latex free gloves.

Anyone have plans for viewing the eclipse next month? We made reservations at a hotel in Geneva, NY since it's in the path of totality. Here's a really cool site to check it out:  https://science.nasa.gov/eclipses/future-eclipses/eclipse-2024/where-when

We will be on the Odyssey at Coco Cay or out at sea depending on when it passes over the US.

Very nice. I know I would make good use of the hot tub, but would probably not have it hot and have a private tiny pool to ourselves. I would love that.

Yeah, but I like that holder and glasses.  I could see that sitting on my bar at home.

Just wrong. Love the drink holder and idea but needs to be run based.

Mw too. That would be awesome for some Kraken rum based shooters.

Today is my darling grandson Brody's 16th birthday.

My, how 15 years flew!

Glad to say his table manners have improved.

I never heard of a "smash cake" until I had grandkids.

Happy Birthday to Brody!    Adorable photo.    They grow up way too fast.

Yea I just sorted out the 2 out of 3 eye drops I start today. 4 weeks. Wow. It sure will be cutting it close to get both eyes done before i drive across the country.

No eye rubbing or heavy lifting or bending. Idk i wonder if driving counts as bending? Lifting? I'm sorting and picking up boxes and moving. I do think my night vision is compromised so I wanted to get it done before I moved. Sounds like I shouldnt be moving boxes and sorting. Starting  Monday.

Based on what they told Eric when he had his cataract surgeries.    No driving for at least first week.   You get a break from moving and packing boxes for at least a week.     You may want to do your errands, grocery shopping, etc. this weekend if you haven't already done.    Best wishes!

Then we do the other eye though. Next monday or Monday after next. Oh my. I guess I need to get my butt to the store for coffee creamer and such I cant do without. It doesnt say dont bend over, it says dont bend.

I am getting a ride there.

Thanks for the tips. I'm a bit nervous.

Very pretty. What is it?

They are azaleas.  The previous owner planted them around several of the trees.  They also planted some hydrangeas which will bloom later.  They are spectacular this year since we didn't have a late freeze like last year.

That's understandable. I watched when my mom had her cataract surgery. It is pretty amazing and quick surgery. It is uncomfortable and kind of painful the first day or so, but the eyes heal remarkably fast. And most people are very pleased with the outcome. I'm sure you will do fine. 😊

My hubby had his done 2 weeks apart.   Good excuse to do nothing for several days after each procedure.

I would be nervous too.  You'll be so happy you had them done after you are all healed😊

Whatever I’m allergic to is in the adhesive part of the bandages.  Clear skin (well, wound) under the bandages, red irritation in the exact shape of the adhesive part.  The soonest dermatology appointment I could get is 10 days from onset.  Probably will be healed by then…if so I’ll just do my annual mole check.  At least it’s not on my face!!
