A gothic church, most likely a cathedral judging from the size. I cannot make out who the two saints are. The pulpit is on the right and the organ on the left. Is it a swallow`s organ, i.e. fixed to the wall rather than on the first floor?

We attended midnight mass on Christmas eve and then again Christmas morning only to hear the boy's choir. I believe they are known as 'the little sparrows '.   They are on par with the Vienna boy's choir. Imho.

You had to get to the church by 9pm if you had any hope of scoring a seat for the 10pm service which ended at midnight.

Ritabob, what a treat! One of the Gothic cathedrals in Germany I have not been to yet. Looks splendid. The Regensburger Domspatzen are indeed world reknowned: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regensburger_Domspatzen

Name what is in the photo. First guess the river. After that name the place in the picture. The person who first guesses correctly gets to post the next photo.

 

This could be an easy one but it's another festive picture.

I believe that you have captured the tree at the Budapest Christmas market, St. Stephen’s Square, with St. Stephen’s Basilica in the background. Danube.

Lovely - hope you will share the photo sans cropping.

If I am correct, it will be another WILD CARD.

Not on a river but at a Christmas market at a place frequented by many river cruisers, depending on their itinerary.
