Better news is that this vaccine has easier storage requirements. Reportedly has a 30 day shelf life one thawed.

This is very good news.  Cruise stocks pre-market are rallying at the moment - RCL is up 8% since Friday's close.

Just saw interview Dr Oz saying general public would probably have access to moderna vaccine by March, maybe sooner.  Other high risk people and front line workers would be mid to end january and february.  Of course that timeline is just an estimate.  But at least there is more light at end of tunnel.  More Great News!!

Just wondering what the "Product Liability" insurance premiums for these pharma companies.

The pharma companies are essentially exempt from liability because they are covered under public health emergency laws.

Yup, that's really what makes this especially good news.  There are a lot of remote areas that will benefit from easier distribution.

There generally is government immunity from lawsuits.  In the US and claims are paid out of a government fund - not by pharma.  Clearly otherwise no pharma would develop vaccines.

But when it comes to lawsuits, you never know.  Look at the lawsuits emanating from the HIV meds.  Also, during the mortgage crisis, Bush's Treasury begged JP Morgan Chase to take over bankrupt Washington Mutual operations.  New administration (Obama) came in and fined the company millions for the actions of the acquired Co.  We as shareholders paid the price.

Perfect opportunity for the cruise ship hating, ambulance chaser to expand his business.
