Good Morning from McCarran Airport in Fabulous Las Vegas. We are waiting at gate E14, for our Alaska Airline flight. Crew have just arrived and Sky Chef is catering the plane. Hope they have the breakfast sandwich I ordered 😂

it’s a beautiful sunny day here and weather looks good here on the West Coast so should be a smooth flight.
Tonight we are having dinner at Elliot’s Oyster House with @dobiemomand @localady

we are ready for some fun😁

Greetings from Seattle, had a great flight arrived early but…. There were about 16 of us that all arrived on different flights going to the Sheraton but evidently there is extremely bad traffic and two vans are stuck in traffic and cannot get to the airport. We have been waiting about 90 minutes now. But we are on vacation so always expect the unexpected.
They just told us part of the problem besides construction is also a Mariners game. At this point unknown when our departure from SeaTac to the hotel will be.

ok wrote the above about 2 hours ago, it did not post. So will continue 😁

We are checked into the hotel, Tom got some food into him and I got a Pumpkin latte. We will be heading out to dinner in about 3 hours.

Last time we were here we were in the Union Street Tower which is the newer tower. This time we are in the Pike Street Tower rooms are appointed the same but these rooms are slightly smaller. This time we have a view that over looks Pike  Street  and we can see Cheesecake Factory.
The lady who checked us in also serves as the Concierge for Holland America guests and she said tomorrow will be the largest group they have had since July 24. There are 66 people that checked in that will be cruising tomorrow.

One of the perks with staying here is getting the A 12 noon check in time for the ship.

That seems like a lot, hope there's more than one bus.

We loved our dinner at Elliot’s enjoy. Just a heads up to future cruisers is to have reservations at any of Seattle restaurants. That probably applies anywhere these days!

This is our 13th cruise, but our first on Holland.  What's the deal with the Sheraton?  We're coming in 2 days early and have booked the Renaissance downtown.  It will be our first time sailing out of Seattle.  (Last Alaska cruise was out of Vancouver on Royal).  I'm always looking for insider tips.  Thank you!  And have a great cruise -- looking forward to following along!

No it’s not cartons of milk but cartons of water 😂 there are also Purcell wipes which is nice.
Since I didn’t get my Pumpkin Latte I am ready for Baileys and coffee and some Biscoff cookies.

The Sheraton is the  hotel through Holland America.   Holland provides transportation from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the pier.
