Needs a little paint by the anchor, doesn't she?  Did either of you have a lot of pixelating going on?  It was one of the worst times I've seen it with the pixelating constantly.

Worked pretty well for me.  I wonder if the blue wave pattern makes it harder to keep paint touched up.

It's possible the port side hasn't been up against the dock there in PEV so they never got a chance to do any painting while picking up supplies and moving crew in and out.  But what do I know?😉

I was exhausted.  Took a long nap. Had dinner and that was it.

This COVID has left me with a fatigue I cannot shake.  Tomorrow is Malaga and I am staying on the ship.  Most people are going to the Alhambra.  We went on the first part of the cruise and that was our fourth and last time to visit it.

I need some down time.

Terri, my sister got covid (she still doesn’t know how as she is very careful, vaccinated and boosted) and while she wasn’t very sick while she had it.  She was exhausted for some time after.  sleep when you need it and enjoy what you can.

I hope you are feeling better very soon 🤞

We have been to Auckland twice in 2000 on P&O Oriana and 2002 on Volendam.  We hope to get back there someday, and to be able to see more of New Zealand.

Both times, we were there during part of the America's Cup/Louis Vuitton Cup races.  In 2000, we were between the end of the Louis Vuitton and the beginning of the America's Cup.  In 2002, the Louis Vuitton was going on, and DH arranged to go on a boat to watch the race, while I was going to wander around Auckland.  Unfortunately, the wind came up and the race was canceled.

In 2000, we walked around town, went up in the Sky Tower and them caught a local bus tour of Auckland, including a fascinating museum exhibit about expeditions to Antarctica.  Later that day, we took the ferry to Devonport where there was a wine festival.  The ferry ride back was interesting with all the people who had tasted too much wine.  These are some of DH's pictures from 2000 when he had the digital camera.

Our views from the Sky Tower including the harbor.  With my fear of heights, walking on the plexiglass "windows" was nerve racking to say the least.

Good evening. I'm late to the party. Thanks for the Daily.

A salute to guide dogs and marine mammal rescue. Telling stories, especially to children, is important.

A favorite quote by a favorite author of mine.

I like the meal; not for today, although I was thinking I should defrost one I have in the freezer. I usually make it with sauerkraut, Pennsylvania Dutch style. The drink sounds good, and the wine is ok for a white one, lol.

I have been to Auckland, as it was the start of my first HAL cruise in 2006, from Auckland to Sydney.

It's chilly but partly sunny here. Frost warning for tonight. It's been a long day. I started at the Rheumatologist. The presumptive diagnosis is RA. She did a long discussion about so many drugs that my head was spinning. Some might help both the uveitis and RA, some only the RA. Most are injections or infusions, and I'm sure wickedly expensive. She also mentioned giving me Evushield for Covid protection. I'll talk to their pharmacy person next week, plus try to do some research myself. One hates to make decisions based on cost. Then off for tons of bloodwork (the routine stuff is already back and looks ok), although the sed rate is high (inflammation). Then off for an x-ray of the stomach (I've had some issues for a few weeks).

@erewhon Congrats on the new rescue kitty.

@kazu Great news on Jose's unit being cleared and only having to wear a shield!

@Horizon chaser 1957 Bon Voyage!

@grapau27 I hope you enjoyed your day of relaxation.

@JAM37 You guys are working hard on your new home and I'm sure it will be very nice.

@aliaschief Enjoy Hawaii! Aloha!

@marshhawk Enjoy your vacation. One of the first things I noticed was pain with making a fist or holding things.

@mamaofami It sounds like the support group will be a good experience and helpful.

@Heartgrove That sounds like quite the great travel adventure!

@Cruzin Terri I know some people have great fatigue after Covid, and it seems it just takes time to improve. Sorry you couldn't do as much as you'd planned.

Prayers for the Care List and Ukraine. Cheers for the Celebration List.

Stay safe everyone.

Thank you Vanessa,I did have a fairly relaxing day.

Sorry to hear about your Rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis and all the drugs the doctor is suggesting.

I hope all your bloods are good.

Prayers 🙏 that your stomach x-ray is okay.

Maybe some of your anti inflammatory medication is causing your stomach issues.

Take care.

Graham.

Made it to Honolulu. Those over five hour flights get harder every year even in first class.

Got here at 11.00 AM local and awaiting a room at Hale Koa where we will spend three days before Island hopping to Kauai.

Always beautiful fauna and grounds!

Mahalo!

@JazzyV  Vanessa, I'm sorry about the presumptive diagnosis of RA.  Hope you can find the correct medicines and that they won't break the bank.

@aliaschief  Glad you and Sue made it to Honolulu safely.  Enjoy your time in paradise.

@Cruzin Terri  I'm glad you enjoyed your day in Gibraltar even if you didn't get to shop.  Try to get some rest.

@JazzyVyou must be overwhelmed with all the different drugs and treatments talked about.  Sorry to hear the diagnosis.  Try not to overwhelm yourself (I know “pot meet kettle”), relax and slowly take a look.  Hopefully you will get some assistance with the drug costs 🤞

I spent my working career with the Social Security and soon came to grips with a surprising definition.  According to Common Law, a person "attains" an age the day before their birthday.  The ideal day to be born was the second of the month because one becomes eligible when they attain retirement age (originally 65).  If born the second of the month a person attains retirement age the first of the month and is eligible the whole month, while if born the 3rd or later must wait to the next month.

Today Rich "attains" 3 years of doing the Fleet Report/Daily, doing it every day from April 28, 2017 through today.

Congratulations @richwmn!

@JazzyV,I am sorry to hear about your possible diagnosis of RA.I have dealt with it for almost 38 years now and the newer drugs saved me from a lot of joint damage. They are stupidly expensive and have side effects but certainly helped  with the pain. I am sending virtual hugs and prayers for you tonight.

Roy, I spent most of my working career with Social Security as well.  I worked in Disability.  Most of my time in the New York Regional Office.  Did a stint in Central Office in the Office of Disability but decided against it.  We probably know a lot of the same people.
