Has anyone called to see if one of these free offers were attached to their name even though they didn’t get an email or letter from blue chip.

I’m still surprised they sent this offer to Pearl members. I really wonder how they decide who gets these offers. I recently made it to Onyx but I stopped getting blue chip emails awhile ago.

Yes. Called as we had been on several Celebrity cruises lately. DH is not a big gambler, but plays quite a bit. He qualified.

Thanks for the info…I will give it a try…nothing to lose except some time on hold…

We had originally filled out the form, but after a few days of no contact decided to call. Got a cruise, not exactly our first choice, but they're all about the same in the MR, so we were ok with it. Sunday got a email that the cruise we originally selected on the form was confirmed. This was around 10-11 days since we sent it in.  I checked wife's account on Celebrity and they have a courtesy hold on it. The hold is good until 8/31, which surprised me. We'll go ahead and let it run out.

It's probably nothing to do with this, but prior to our last cruise we had pre purchased some casino credit with OBC for the extra 10%. Just wondering if any others had done that and might possibly be one of the triggers to be included in this offer. I know some people said they don't spend any in the casino.

We did our flights with miles and a Hilton room with points, so far it's a pretty cheap cruise.

For those trying to figure out the possible criteria for the free cruises....it is not triggered by the purchase of casino slot credits to get the discount because we regularly buy credits with OBC before the cruise to get this discount.  No e mail offer for us.  We called anyway and were told we could not get the perk unless we got the email....but I think if you are a"whale" you might get it.  We are just ONYX.

We are Pearl and typically do not gamble on Celebrity cruises.  We were on the Celebrity Summit July 24-31.  With some OBC, before I left I purchased a slot tournament pass at a reduced rate.  I also showed up for the free Celebrity tournament.  I did a little gambling on the slots.  I received this offer on July 29th via email while still on the cruise.  My email is still valid until September 16, but, I have not done anything with the offer yet.

My wife got the offer via a postcard with a QR code. She filled out the online form on Friday and listed three cruise choices. We received our first choice via email on Saturday. And we were assigned a super nice cabin location on the hump, deck 8.

We are going to try calling tomorrow with a few questions. not sure if you can upgrade to get the perks. We may also upgrade to Aqua if reasonable.

Will probably pay off the taxes to confirm when we call. Will report on anything we find out.

Aqua class may be $20 a night each which is a deal! You will need to pay the taxes and port fees to have to room reserved

The perks is not an up grade but you can pay full price to purchase the drinks package and WIFI

Our July Alaska cruise was a Blue Chip offer. We cruised on X the first time last summer. My wife loves the casino so I wasn’t surprised that she received the offer. We’ve only paid the booking fee for two cruises ever. Our first Carnival Alaska cruise and first X. All the others have been casino offers. Some of them have been really amazing, including one Princess cruise last fall that came with free drinks and WiFi for both of us and $1k free play for her. I don’t gamble but I get to tag along with her for free.

For those of you thinking to wait until the end of the month to decide:  These offers are capacity controlled and when BCC sells 'their' cabin allotments on a particular sail date they are gone.  If you want it, book it. You can cancel up to two weeks prior to sail date for a refund of PTF.

I got the postcard with the QR code.  Once I scanned and saw the cruises that were offered, I entered in my choices.  When I didn't hear back from them after a few days, I called and was given my first choice.  Paid the extra $20. per day and now have a midship Aqua class veranda, on the Beyond.

I believe that if you get an offer and are interested, book it ASAP.  You can always cancel.

Are you saying you received a free. Cruise on the Beyond via this Blue Chip Club offer? I thought this was only for the Solstice out of California

There are always random and very limited free cruises on many sailings. (

Actual gamblers) Normally not in numbers like the recent Solstice sailings

I thought cruiselines were required to refung PTFs if you cancel at any time.

We were able to book ours using my father in laws email and just changing names on form and CC number. We told our good friends about it and he signed  up for the blue chip club and then  for a line of credit and they sent an offer. They got on the same cruise and upgraded to concierge a we booked a couple rooms from each other.I wish we would have done Aqua class but we are all happy with our deal !!

Is it a generic form/website? I've seen it referenced here a few times but never seen it myself.

When we got our email last month, the on line form that we were directed to had our son's name and Blue Chip Club member number already filled out in it. Although it could be overwritten, but it did indicate who the intended recipient was.

Is it the weird google forms page?

From what I can tell, basically many cruise lines with casinos are currently casting a wider net with their algorithm parameters to look for high-value gamblers.

As a bit of context, both my husband and I are decidedly low-level gamblers. We might hit the casino once on a 7 day cruise, and lose about $50 playing slots between us. I also travel for work, and if I'm in Vegas I'll go to a casino if I have downtime, but again this is less than an hour, betting $1.25 a spin max.

We recently received free stateroom casino offers from both Carnival AND Celebrity, and we've taken advantage of both. Carnival's offer was an Oceanview, but Celebrity offered us the same as the OP, a verandah on a Mexican Riviera cruise. We thought the Carnival offer was a mistake, but booked and sailed with no issue. We've booked the Celebrity offer for next January.

Oddly, we didn't get the offer via email, but rather a card in our stateroom cabin on the NJ-Reykjavik cruise last week. It specifically stated the offer was redeemable only on-board at the future cruise desk. We again thought it was an error, but the future cruise desk told us it was legitimate, and the casino was just expanding their offers to more cruisers.

I'd love to know what larger algorithm tracks play across casinos and cruise lines and says I have the potential to be a problem gambler, but as for now, I'm happy to take the free cruise offers as they come!

No it was not.  It was not formatted for appearance, but rather a bunch of text asking you for similar information as your link although I distinctly remember that the form also asked for the names of up to 3 travelling companions (additional passengers).

It was a Blue Chip email offering a free Mexican Riviera cruise.   The email contained a link with pre-filled information and allowed me to select three preferred cruise dates from Sept through March.

I filled it out for my husband (blue chip number blank but included his Captains Club number).    He is a Blue Chip member (pearl).   I sent it on Sunday and received confirmation on Monday morning.   His email confirmation was different than mine as it advised opting into email offers so he would automatically get offers.   He must have been on their list too.

It's a wonderful cabin on the slant with a huge balcony.   We are very happy that the offer was also valid for him.

I was able to access the form.  Here is a screenshot of 90% of it (I have replaced the pre-filled out information with "xxxxxx"):

I was totally shocked to get this email, I've only been on one Celebrity cruise ever, over 5 years ago, and *might* have gambled $20 in the casino. I live in Las Vegas and don't gamble here either, LOL.

I just got the email yesterday and called to book it today. My 1st and 2nd choice were not available, so picked the 3rd choice then realized after the fact that the itinerary is the least interesting to me.

So thinking about switching to anything else, assuming that's still possible. I didn't ask about upgrading either, and the rep on the phone didn't offer it. He did book me a nice balcony on the hump so location is good.
