grapau27 Posted June 24 #1 Share Posted June 24 Good afternoon. We had a fantastic cruise on Arvia. We stayed in the Grand Harbour hotel in Southampton on June 8th and had a nice balcony overlooking the Solent. On June 9th there was a 3 hour delay for boarding while they did a deep clean but we boarded at 15.00pm. Our cabin was at the back with fantastic views of the ships wake. I had pre-booked our 14 nights Speciality restaurants on line. I booked 6 nights in Epicurean. 4 nights in Sindhu. 3 nights in the Beach house. 1 night in Limelight club where we saw Joe McEldery the 2009 X factor winner who lives 20 miles from us. Our itinerary was. Southampton. La Coruna. Valencia. Marseille. Barcelona. Alicante. Cadiz. Southampton. For breakfast we went to the Meridian restaurant. The Quays. 6th Street diner. For lunch we went to Meridian restaurant. The Quays. I have posted a selection of photos and if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. Camberley Posted June 24 #10 Share Posted June 24 Amazing photos and glad you had a lovely time. We’re on Arvia in a few weeks for a similar itinerary, plus, like you, speciality restaurants almost all nights: well, we booked them when P&O “accidentally trialled” the 120 day pre-booking a while ago. And I can watch your video from your balcony for ages! So relaxing 2

It opens at 10am for breakfast and we loved it on sea days. The 50s 60s music was great as was the service. 19

grapau27 Posted June 24 Author #17 Share Posted June 24 There was at least 2 tables set for 10 people we saw in Meridian restaurant. I know some people were asking this question. 7

Quartzsite Cruiser Posted June 24 #19 Share Posted June 24 Thank you, Graham, for your report and the great pictures. We've enjoyed our stops in all the ports on your cruise, and the pictures being back great memories. Our one cruise on P&O Oriana in 2000 was before there were specialty restaurants on ships. I happy you and Pauline enjoyed your cruise. 6
