TGfromTX Posted July 23 #1 Share Posted July 23 Just curious if anyone is finding this as fun as I? ignore the water test kit. I’m going to check what is coming out of these pipes shortly. 3

39august Posted July 23 #3 Share Posted July 23 We found 2 ducks on our Beyond cruise in May. Saw a young boy looking and his dad said he'd found 4 so far.

There were ducks on the Ascent and anyone want to guess where they were deposited? 1
39august Posted July 24 #6 Share Posted July 24 This cruise duck business has been going on for several years now. Usually done by a facebook group. I first read about it on a HAL board.

bikerunner Posted July 24 #9 Share Posted July 24 I found them before, took them to the room, ended up in the trash before packing to leave. 2

I have never seen any on a Celebrity ship, though I did overhear a large group talking about all the places they hid them on my last cruise. EatonDoolittle Posted July 24 #15 Share Posted July 24 I guess I'm the only one who found the irony of OP bringing a water test kit to the ship. Worried about their drinking water, but not in the least bit concerned about contributing to the general ocean pollution of human junk.

Next time, pick it up and offer it to one of the workers onboard. I have never seen such excited reactions from the crew. They absolutely get visibly excited if you offer them a duck. They’ll thank you for a $2 tip but I can’t explain the reactions they have for ducks. And duck hiding had already caught on the Beyond. Many ducks around this ship if you look. Also plenty of doors decorated. I walked around different floors just to look at doors for an hour or so. 1

miched Posted July 24 #23 Share Posted July 24 I think it would be more fun to hide rubber rats, mice, snakes, spiders, or cockroaches during a Halloween cruise 😱😬. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
princessscubamom Posted July 25 #24 Share Posted July 25 Have found ducks on several recent cruises. Bring one home for my grandson and the rest I see I leave for someone else to get the smile. Enjoy and thank you! Maybe I will find one in a few weeks on the Beyond 🙂
