Diamond plus - gift preference question

That is the problem, we cannot find a list to pick from.

Also, do each of us , diamond plus, get a personalized gift?

Call C&A to make your selection, apparently the website no longer has that function.

 

If you are linked and staying in the same stateroom, then only one gift is given.

I will reach D+ on my next cruise in May. Had I not already known about the gift, I would never think to ask or set a preference. Since you can’t do it yourself now, I wonder if I will get any kind of notice from Royal? I guess we will see.

One gift at 175, two gifts at 340 (or 350), three gifts at 525. You get to choose from a list of gifts.

 

Thanks. Thought maybe there was something else I missed. Wish I'd made note of that Preference List!!

 

So it's my understanding that we'll get the same gift/preferences we had requested for last cruise? unless we change it?

I made diamond plus on my cruise in december and now have 176 points will I get my gift on the september 2018 cruise? what is the 175 point gift?

Kind of new to RCCL after a 4 year hiatus but we have Diamond status from Celebrity's Captains Club...but I have no idea how to log in and request these gifts. I know we won't get all that you D+ folks get but we do want to get what we are entitled too. I tried logging into CAS's page but I see no profile tab.....any help is greatly appreciated, especially with all of the mess that is RCCL web site now.

It's not "A gift". It is something that you select from a list of choices. That list used to be visible on the C&A portion of the RC website. It is no longer there.

 

You must call C&A (800-526-9723) and ask them to read you the list. You tell the person your choice. If you need to, ask them to read the list again. And again. And again.

 

They'll get sick and tired of this before we do.

I have it on good authority that they removed the list from the website because they are sick and tired of "our" complaining when we are on board that we didn't get what we asked for.

I find it wrong that each D+ member does not get their own gift. If they were each in different cabins, they'd each get a gift.

 

9 No bonus gift will be delivered on sailings less than 3-Nights. Only one bonus gift will be delivered on sailings between 3- and 6- Nights. All orders need to be placed up to 5 days before a US based sailing and 7 days for an internationally based sailing. If no selections are made before the time prescribed above, then no order will be placed. Orders and/or substitutions cannot be placed on or after boarding day. All Diamond Plus and above members can go into the secure Crown & Anchor section of the website and select your preferences and keep them up to date; or, Diamond Plus members and their travel agents can contact a Loyalty Specialist within 14 days of their departure to select an amenity and arrange timing for delivery to either their stateroom or dining room by calling (800) 526-9723 and pressing 9 at any time during the greeting message. All orders are per household and will be selected by the primary member in the relationship. Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. (ET).

 

The wife and I travelled in different cabins - she travelled with our son and I was solo. 3 bottles of White Zin in my room over four days, nothing in hers.

 

Spoke to L.A. who showed us on the website that it per household, not per stateroom.

Which according to the previous post is nothing (the default is no gift).

 

Biker, who dismisses conspiracies but believes RCI might want to get out of the amenities business, not necessarily due to cost but to simplify the cabin steward’s life.

Just been on the phone to the C&A department and they have advised that it is planned to have the onboard preference facility on the new website. When that will happen I have no idea. In the meantime I've changed my drink preferences for my next cruise later this year

I emailed them earlier this week specifically asking about changing gift preferences and received this response:

"Thank you for being patient with our new Guest Account system, our technical specialists are aware of this situation and working to have your account accessible right away. Please try your account again over the next couple days as we get it up and running."

I got this yesterday so only time will tell ;)

Thank you. I called and made my selection. Was also told that in the near future, this function will be back on the site. What they consider near future and what I consider near future is to be seen.:rolleyes:

Anyone know how you can update your preferences on the new site? I tried every option and link and got nowhere. Thanks!

 

You can't. You will need to call them, and they will do it over the phone. It is currently NA online.

If you and your H are D+...just one bottle? I'm having all kinds of issues with this new website...

You can get one bottle from 175-339 points, two bottles from 340-524 points, and three bottles if you have 525 points and over.
