Labadee or Coco Cay...which is better

I prefer CocoCay. It has one long continuous stretch of beach that is mich better for walking and the water is very shallow a long way out.

Both private islands in the Caribbean, so both terrific. However now I would give Labadee an edge due to construction at Coco Cay.

Once construction is finished, Coco Cay hands down. Before they started construction; six of one half dozen of the other.

Coco Cay is NOT in the "Caribbean"..it's in the Bahamas. They are Atlantic Islands. But, assuming the weather, winds and tides are good and you can tender in, then Coco Cay has my vote, as well.

Ok, I rarely come to CB's defense but she did not say Labadee was an island. It was someone else that said that. And she was correct that the Bahamas are in the Atlantic.

And it was that same someone else who, incorrectly, said both places were islands in the Caribbean which is what CB was referring to. CB was quite correct that Coco Cay is a Bahama island in the Atlantic. So you can stop laughing now.

Sorry for your misunderstanding. I thought it was pretty clear, but what do I know.:') She even makes that statement when someone has a question about BERMUDA....:'):') "Bermuda is NOT in the Caribbean!!"....when no one ever said it was!!!:eek:

I liked Coco Cay except for the small sharks even in the shallow areas. I was aways wondering if their mommies are nearby... Otherwise, it is just beautiful.
