Yep.....made it!

 

Booked NCL’s shore/airport shuttle to the ship.  Not NCL’s fault, but they need to find a new transport contractor.  ½ way to the pier, he was ordered to turn around and pick up someone else at the airport.  At that juncture we would have missed the safety briefing (and probably missed the ship). Poor transport contractor.

 

I thought I had experienced everything in my years of flying.  AMERICAN AIRLINES took the cake today.  Would you fly in a plane this poorly maintained?

Wife de said if we can get a cheap cabin for the 8/10 cruise we can go again so crossing fingers prices drop a little for that one.... Even would take an inside to be on it...

It's a beautiful evening and glad to know you are on your own ... maybe, later on - when you get time & a chance (post-cruise is fine) of what you knew/think happened to your AA code-shared flight by Envoy Air (they are considered the largest regional carrier/partner for AA) this morning - besides, it was a small regional jet (ERJ-135 series per FlightAware, max 37 pax onboard).  

 

Glad to know that at least, by using NCL transfer from the airport(s) - they waited for you and got you to the pier before they pull up the gangway.  

 

Off-topic but somewhat related: this summer could be hell for air travelers caught unlucky with various labor issues on top of the B737Max issues, which doesn't look anywhere nearly dealt with, resulting in flight cancellations (now, thru September ...)   AA apparently in the cross-hair.

P.S. if you picked up the internet package, can you please let me know how well (or not) it works on the Escape? I am studying for my Masters online. Will need to upload a couple of assignments during the time that we are anchored in Bermuda. If the internet is a turkey shoot, I will need to try to complete 6 assignments over the next few days. 😞

Thanks everyone.  Things have definitely become much better.  Didn’t get a chance to post last night.....but....dinner.....drinks.....casino....more drinks....everything excellent.  Great nights sleep.  Off to the Thermal Spa this morn to sweat out toxins.
