New Ship Names

Recommended Posts

As you guys might know, Royal Caribbean has a few more ships on order right now. A Quantum Class, 2 Oasis Class, and a new Icon Class with at least 3 of them on order. Of Course, at the time of writing this we know that the Quantum class will be Odyssey Of The Seas and the next Oasis Class Vessel will be Wonder Of The Seas. However, there is an additional Oasis Class Vessel and 3 Icon Class Vessels which do not have any names. Does anyone have any guesses of what they might be named? The Oasis Class we could probably narrow down due to the theme for the last five. Oasis, Allure, Harmony, Symphony, Wonder. Anyway, anyone got any ideas?

Other than the steel cutting for Icon (which might be named Icon), in the current climate, not sure the other ships will happen as planned.

Isolation, quarantine, separation, and seclusion  all come to mind

RCCL names get Stupider with each new ship.

They should follow HAL and start rehashing names of older ships no longer in the fleet.

The best ship names were the original ones.

Even Carnival finally started to figure it out with their next ship the Mardi Gras....

I would love to see RCI bring back some old names.  I think that's a great idea.

Sovereign was the best.   Monarch, Splendor, Legend, Nordic Prince. Sun Viking are all great.

Not so much "Song of America"..

We were on Serenade in January, never saw so many elderly guests on a ship.

We re-named it Assisted Living of the Seas.

HAL of the Seas sounds about right.

Until I saw a special on TV about the "Delta Queen" river cruises.

It made HAL seem young.
