Well, I think you may like to see a few of the pictures that I took earlier today. 😎

It was so beautiful and warm (71° F) and sunny here in SE  “New” England today!!
We took a short ride to the small local beach near us that’s on Narragansett Bay. (It is a bay in RI that flows into the Atlantic Ocean.) It appears that the sea was much calmer up here than it was down where OB was - which is south and west of where we were.

Nice pictures! I didn't realize that you lived in this corrupt little state too.

An Irish family I follow on social media, have just flown to The Gulf to be hosted on board the new MSC World Europa cruise ship.  The first video she posted was of the promenade ceiling with images of whales cruising through waters.  That blew me away (because I love whales) and I haven’t even seen the rest of the ship yet.

She is spoiled. We picked her up from the side of the road on our drive home today about half a mile away from home. She was hanging underneath some blue spruce trees avoiding this… just waiting for Uber mom and dad to get her.

Love it!  She is quite the little Princess!

It is 56 and windy here.  Please come get your weather and take it back up north.  I am cold!  Tomorrow will be 59 for a high and 33 for the low.  Brrrr.  At least Monday will be 66 for a high.  It does look like I will have to turn the air conditioner back on for Thanksgiving.

Love that song saw him in Billy Bobs in Ft Worth many decades ago.

Billy Bob's, that brings back memories when my company sent us to the American Airlines Learning Centre for a two week course back in the '80s .

Our course leaders took us to all the local sites !!!

47 years ago tonight the SS Edmund Fitzgerald sank near WhiteFish Bay with her crew of 29.

At approximately 7:10 p.m., when Arthur M. Anderson notified Edmund Fitzgerald of an upbound ship and asked how she was doing, McSorley reported, "We are holding our own." She was never heard from again. No distress signal was received, and ten minutes later, Arthur M. Anderson lost the ability either to reach Edmund Fitzgerald by radio or to detect her on radar.

She and her crew were immortalized in a folk classic song by Gordon Lightfoot, The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Still playing “catch up”.  Now I’m only 8 pages behind 😁.  Thank you for sharing this.

Gordon was a great Canadian troubadour. I do some of his songs. Unfortunately, time and aging have not been so kind to him.

He was one of my favorites.  I have several of his albums.  Yes, vinyl…. I’m old🙀😹

How far in advance do you have to get a reservation at Gordon Ramsay's to get a table. Every time we have been to AC and try to get in a place like that there, they seemed to be booked up the day of?

They got the reservations last week.  Our host also manages to get us reservations.  You can also sit at the bar and eat.

Have been busy so I haven't really been reading the thread. Not sure if people saw the 2 vintage airplanes that crashed over Dallas. Very sad. Mike got an email this morning saying they were AA pilots. On the train to the Australian Museum.

Saw video of this on my Youtube feed before I even saw the headline... Absolutely unbelievable!  So very very sad and tragic.
