Royal Caribbean Cruisers -- How Are Things Where You Are? (was "Routine" ​ 😁 ​day in lockdown... how was yours?)

So the Premier Pass was a “glitch”, and our lying eyes never saw and were able to book something Royal never offers.  I wondered how long it would take them to cancel all those purchases.  
 

 

Oh well, they are giving $50 in OBC.

George C- Not being a Debbie Downer, but being realistic re: the kitchen update.

After experiencing two kitchen renovations, one in our home, the other in a Florida condo, the job may take longer than you anticipate.

You may want to make the trip to NYC and Buffalo nearer to July 4 than Memorial Day- just sayin’ 😉

Hoping the update goes smooth for you and that you enjoy the new kitchen.

Will you post photos of before and after like @Jimbo?

I like home decorating,enjoy seeing all kinds of styles and designs.

Good morning.

It is 35°F and sunny here at 10am in North East England a big difference from 80°F in Tenerife the last several days.

Pauline is back to work today and why we couldn't make Bella's cruise this week but at least we did the Oasis and several days on Miami beach January/February.

We have 22° with a feels like 16° this morning, with a couple inches of snow on the ground.  We are getting some lake effect snow today until 9 tonight.  
 

Looks like my exercise will be on a treadmill today, instead of outdoors.

Here in SE PA we had heavy rain for a couple hours last night.  Woke up to chilly winds.  Expecting wind gusts up to 50 mph with snow showers today.  Our expected cumulation is only 1 to 2 inches of snow.   

I'm taking my snow boots to work just incase the weather people are wrong.  Rarely are wrong🙃

I read the Premier Pass offer on select sailings was an error and refunding everyone.   Nice they are giving a $50 OBC to everyone that purchased it.

We are just getting really heavy rain and winds so far. We are on the edge of where the are saying 3-6 inches and 6-10 inches of snow once it does turn to snow but we will see. I hope it stays rain too but we will see. Supposed to flip around lunchtime.

It is 41 here.  Brrr.  Everyone in the snow zone stay safe.  I had a good day yesterday.  I fed 4 baby doves without supervision (just finished  training) and no one died.  Success!

The part that I didn't understand was they said it was a non-sustainable, too good to be true, offer and only meant for the Celebrity brand. So my question is why is it too good to be true for us RCI folks but doable for the Celebrity people?

Our forecast for tomorrow morning is 26 to 28.  This could be very harmful to the peach trees that bloomed last week.  Our South Carolina peaches are very good,  I hope the crop isn’t ruined.

We normally look at sky suites for celebrity vs grand suites for rccl , celebrity normally bundles WiFi and drink package into its price , last year the better deal was celebrity by far for this November rccl had a way better price on harmony.

From what I read, Royal had more than one glitch pop up over the weekend, and they were taking away other things and giving $50 for those glitches too.   Then, people said the got $100 OBC, instead of $50, and a little while later they were clawing those back, because obviously it was a glitch. 
 

I think someone brought their cat to work, and it fell asleep on their keyboard and created the mess. 
 

That said, mine still shows I purchased it, and I haven’t had any OBC show up. Well, I don’t sail for quite a few months, so they have time to straighten it out.

Been snowing since 1 am.  Mostly light snow so only about 3-5 inches but intensity has picked up. Forecasters say to expect another 3-5 before its over @ 8:00 pm. 

 

Very wet & heavy.  Snow blower is going to get a good workout!  So far March has been the most wintery month this winter.
