It’s mid winter here and we had gutsy winds all day, so there were white caps on Sydney Harbour and all the outdoor eateries along the harbourfront walk from Circular Quay to the Opera House were closed, simply too cold to sit outside in that wind plus everything would have blown off of the tables. The Aerial Show was different. They had an Opera Singer and a Theatre performer singing as the talented aerial artists performed above them. Interestingly, from our seats, we could see the human counterweight in black in the shadows moving up and down the rigging, as required. I had a quiet chuckle though because at one point one of the female aerialists performed in an exact replica of the red hammocks from the Virgin Voyages’ balcony cabins!
