Sadly, I have to admit I enjoy the snacks during HH🍸

The best DL snacks we ever had was on Harmony in her maiden season of 2016 when we were on her 3 times.,first on her second voyage from Southampton and twice from Barcelona.

Ok, I was suggesting not the 3 drinks currently provided, but make it unlimited during those hours.

Thanks for your reply.

Stay Safe!

Making HH unlimited drinks available all over the ship would definitely be a good thing.

Often most people drink a lot more in the DL/CL when your wine is constantly being topped up by the waiters.

The DL could be available for breakfast, coffees etc during the day and access to the concierge for D,D+and P then HH for Pinnacles only which will free up the SL.

And the SL is not available to D+.

True.

If the offering was right I would just book a Suite but I question the quality of the SL experience.

Or you could become a Pinnacle but there is no guarantee either will have access to SL going forward.

I think there is a good chance of changes to the CL/SL as well as the DL .

We would be very close to Pinnacle if we had sailed exclusively Royal but are high loyalty on other cruiselines and have other options as benefits are not guaranteed and can be changed as seen with D+ and CLs.

Diamond Lounge?  What's that in a post-bankruptcy cruise line with a new loyalty program?

I look forward to clawing my way back up from my current pre-Zirconium status.  Achieving enough points to visit the Niobium Lounge is a challenge I am eager to get started on.

People remove auto gratuities whether the ship sails from Europe, Australia or the US.  I am not going to go round and round on the assumptions that were posted.  Unless someone stands at guest services and asks why people are there, no one knows if they are removing gratuities or dealing with another issue.

Again, it's the most common to happen outside of the US.

I really like the RCI product. For me the C&A perks are part of the product. If they were to go away it might give me the push to try other products that I have been curious about.

I am at a point where starting over in a loyalty program will most likely take too much time to get to a level that provides nice perks that I appreciate so I don't think any cruise line's loyalty program would matter to me going forward if C&A either goes away or resets to zero.

When sailing on Celebrity and Azamara they give reciprocal loyalty status up through Diamond....with several nice perks. For us, it's now been more about where we go and they both offer a variety of itineraries that RCI doesn't have. We've enjoyed our sailings on both of the sister lines.

Celebrity Elite Perks

  • Elegant tea invitation
  • Evening Cocktail hour (excludes embarkation and evening of Senior Officers’ Party)
  • Complimentary access to Persian Garden (on one port day of your choice while ship is in port)
*applies to Solstice and Millennium class ships only
  • Access to the Captain’s Club Lounge for daily coffee house style breakfast
  • A private shipboard departure lounge, serving continental breakfast
  • Complimentary 90-minute Internet package or 30% discount on our Unlimited Internet Package
  • Exclusive Senior Officers’ Cocktail Party
  • Complimentary wine seminar event
  • Priority embarkation while boarding the ship (where available)
  • Priority status for shore excursion waitlist
  • One complimentary bag of laundry (wash, dry, fold) on every sailing. Complimentary pressing of 2 garment items and dry cleaning of 1 garment.
  • Behind the scenes Theatre Tour with the cast and crew, with complimentary welcome drink
  • One category stateroom upgrade applicable up to AquaClass®*
  • Exclusive Captains Club Celebration Event
  • 20% discount on any digital or print photo package at the Photo Gallery plus $100 off any Photo Package purchased at The Studio
  • One Complimentary scoop of gelato from the Gelateria
  • Access to special events on Reunion and Presidents Cruise sailings
  • Access to Captain's Club VISTA magazine online
  • Access to the onboard Loyalty Host during your cruise
  • Eligibility for Captain’s Club promotions when booking a future cruise onboard
  • Diamond Level enrollment in Royal Caribbean’s Crown & Anchor Society

We are Elite on Princess.

No free drinks in Elite Lounge just a few special priced cocktails.

Priority Tender.

P&O 10% off your bill but only after obc used up.

Ditto this!!

I know there's no Hh on the Empress but when I was on the Majesty in Nov 2919 out of Ft Lauderdale they still had HH in the Viking Crown.  Did they change this when the Majesty repositioned to New Orleans?

1.  C&A will NOT be going away.

2.  C & A will NOT reset to zero.

Either one of those options would be corporate suicide and bring great joy to Carnival and NCL!

1. No one knows that for certain.

Carnival and NCL could do the same thing. Cruisers are still going to cruise.

I believe the first of the year, the Diamond Event in the VCL was discontinued.

Why would you think C&A is going away or resetting to Zero?

Cruisers are still going to cruise.

Three possibilities...

1.  More people will be cruising - absolutely not.  People will not be rushing back to what has proven to be floating

     incubation labs.

2.  The same number of people will be cruising as before - nope.  Many will have reached the age where cruising is no

longer a viable option.  People have gotten used to alternate vacations and new cruisers will take years to develop.

3. The demand for cruising will lessen - bingo!

So yes, "cruisers are still going to cruise, but far less than before!

Not if they sail at 50% capacity in the beginning.

Your argument is like the smokers, without us they will not survive. They said it when smoking was banned in restaurants and for the most part about casinos. The restaurants survived and I believe offer everyone a better experience. The casinos that have banned smoking are also surviving.

At 50% or less capacity, they will fill those cabins with or without you.

They are not going to limit themselves to 50% capacity any longer than they have to. And you can't really look at 2021 or 2022 as a sign of true demand as many of those booking are from cruises that have been cancelled or lifted and shifted.

You can't compare the issues of today with banning smokers. The cruise industry has a huge stigma to overcome. Images of multimillion dollar cruise ships with sick passengers, nowhere to go, and nowhere to dock will not fade quickly. And until they do, those of us who love to cruise will be a very valuable commodity to an industry that is spending months shut down.

Sailing at 50% capacity even for a short period of time, would lead to financial disaster and bankruptcy.  There are fixed costs, not the least of which is interest.  it would be "Bye, bye, Royal"!
