This  will be our 9 th sailing on ALLURE.  WE will be celebrating our 31 st wedding anniversary.

Due to circumstances beyond my control (smart phone and computer illiterate) this is my second attempt.

The following cruise story will include dialogue with pictures. So sit back, relax and 🐝 entertained as I take you along.

To start with the whole packing and planning as well as coordinating was left upto 3 people.
ME MYSELF AND I.

And finally in the event the negative COVID golden ticket eludes us. Then

We were on in May and it was fantastic.  Both concierges (Junior and his partner were very engaging with us even though we didn’t need them since we had a genie).  They obviously knew this, but that is always a sign to me that they are working  for more than just tips, and are true professionals and enjoy many aspects of their work.  The CK manager and assistant were also great.  Basically the CK/SL made every breakfast a pleasure.  Great service and great food.  Didn’t eat dinner there, but I’m sure it would’ve been nice.

We were supposed to be on right now, but we had a lot of sickness in our house so we had to cancel just a few days before.  Two thumbs up to Royal for how quickly we were able get ahold of them and cancel everything.

Look forward to seeing your review.  Im sure you will enjoy it.

That is a new one.  They didn't do that to us, and we just got off on Sunday.

That's what is says in the letter she posted from the concierge  That must be part of the new protocols that are coming out this week

Guests will also undergo a health screening as part of the boarding process to identify any symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (or other infectious diseases) – which includes having your temperature taken via a contactless device.

Most likely, they just never updated the letter.

Today was an early start to pre-cruise preparation. All outdoor plants watered and watering cans left out filled to the brim so house sitter will water as needed.

Supposed to be a hot one today.
Preparing us for the Caribbean.

Today is also down sizing of outfits.
I try to only pack in ways that I can mix and match 9 formal tops with 4 dressy pants.
Add to that shoes, swimming wear as well as pjs and undies.

Of course having worked as a nurse for many years we also in addition to our prescription meds take over the counter meds. Just in case.

No matter how hard we try we always overpack.

Also found some trivia about the Allure.  I wish they would have trivia about RCI ships instead of games like music trivia.

But for now my goal is to decrease our clothes selection.  I think I’ll start with the Spouse. 😜

Take care.

Sea you later.
