My friend made a quilt out of all my cruising t-shirts that I've acquired over the last 19 years. The flag was given to me by the Staff Cpt on Sovereign of the Seas.

That's a really nice gift. I've seen quilts made of different shirt collection but this one is one to treasure for sure. All those memories now in one place. Love it!

My mom who passed in January was a quilter. I've been driving around to family sharing them. I kept a wall of boxes each with a quilt in every box, and some have a quilt top or baby quilts. I've given out 300 to 400, so it's hard to be jealous when I have a wealth of quilts myself, all special to me. 

 

I'm glad you treasure it. That's what quilts are for.

That's very cool.  Ive been saving all of my ties since I starting having to wear them.  It's hundreds, and when I retire again, this time for good, I'm gonna have a quilt made from them.

Sure wish I had an ugly, hodgepodge quilt. Some people have all the luck.

That was a really thoughtful gift from your friend. I'm sure that took a long time to make and it's a nice way to keep all those shirts that you probably never wear but didn't want to throw away.

I only had a fleece throw on my bed and the cats hogged most of it so I was getting cold at night. Now I have something that will keep me covered no matter what contortions I have to do to accommodate 3 felines.

T-shirts eventually wear out, or get thrown in the camper because of stains. Didn't want that to happen since I can't replace the Monarch, Sovereign, Empress, or Majesty T-shirt.
