Best crew and service .... Eclipse

The Eclipse officers and management really made us feel like family. We look forward to sailing with them again !!

Best food ... Equinox

The OceanView Cafe had the BEST food onboard any cruise ship !

Luminae was also a notch above all the rest.

Best Penthouse Suite ... Millennium

We still like the Millennium Penthouse as our favorite cabin at sea.

We only cruised on Infinity 2017...also 2016....Definitely not a fav as she ages...broken and failing a/c..., mildew in shower...just felt old.

Trip solidified future preference for S Class...Silhouette and Equinox. Next up will be EDGE.

Reflection, love the Lawn Grill & the F & B department were doing great things in the OV. This years cruise on the Reflection was our 18th on X and the food & theme days menus were the best we have experienced at the OV.

2017: We sailed on Reflection 7 weeks, Silhouette 4 weeks, Summit three weeks and just finished 7 weeks on Eclipse.

We liked Eclipse best because we were sailing with friends.

The activities team were the best ever because we love trivia (it's not trivial to us) and the team provided different and more difficult questions every week, Cafe al Bacio service was great and we had a special celebration on the bridge. Blu staff were very friendly, more so than in Luminae... and also a more varied menu. There is Milka who would find my drink of choice whenever others said, "we don't have it."

Overall it's not about the ship but the staff with whom we have sailed most often. We will pick ships because of itinerary (love Eclipse 14 Days), least flying time and staff. I do track staff movement because there are officers who make it obvious that customer relations is not the reason they were hired. There are officers who take the time out to talk to passengers and others who are not only invisible but avoid interaction even when they are at events.

Now that M-class have dumped Murano-type restaurants, they have collectively moved to the bottom of our list. Summit ticked us off because Park West always took over the Rendezvous lounge. Eclipse was the best Park West experience because they never took over a lounge.

I don't like Reflection because of more crowding and an inferior Sky Lounge that Park West takes over on sea days.

We book them all because we love to be at sea but some experiences are just better than others.

In 2017, we sailed on a Reflection TA in a 1A Veranda & Summit New England/Canada in an Aqua cabin. Though we enjoyed aspects of both cruises & ships, Reflection wins easily for lovely crew and ship.

For several reasons, one of which I’ve already mentioned in another thread, we would not book an Aqua cabin on an M-class ship in future. In contrast, we’ve another cruise booked on Reflection this year, on which we can only hope to encounter the same brilliant staff.

In 2017 we did 3 cruises with Celebrity. January was Millie Hong Kong to Shanghai 12 nights. May was Solstice Hawaii to Vancouver 10 nights. November was Reflection Fort Lauderdale 14 night round trip. Our favorite cruise ship would be Reflections for The Porch.

We cruised Silhouette, Constellation and Summit in 2017. Our favorite ship was Silhouette for the extremely friendly staff and great service. Summit was a close second. However, Connie was a distant third due to mediocre service.

In terms of cruise itineraries it was Connie (Italy & Croatia), followed by Summit (Canada/NE) and then Silhouette (western caribbean) so just the opposite.

Reflection is definitely our favorite. This year's sailing on her (our 6th) was fantastic, with the best crew, service, food, and overall experience.

Reflection was also voted best Premium cruise ship of the year by readers of Travel Weekly.

Reflection hands down best crew. Also, on our 11/27/17 sailing we had the best entertainment of any of our cruises for the last 11 years! The ship's in great shape and the GS staff was the best of any we've experienced.
