Yes, in dry dock 2020 - in fact they cancelled a cruise we had scheduled on it.  Plus the missing weeks aren't contiguous.  Missing Feb 26 - Mar 7 and then again after Mar 13 until the 21st.  It appears that possibly two 9 day cruises aren't listed, which seems long for a charter.  We were hoping to book a BTB with a 5 day.  May be have to do the earlier Feb southern cruise.

It's four of the 9 day cruises are missing for the Explorer. Jan. 29 - Feb. 7 & Feb. 12 - 21 plus the two you listed. I doubt four cruises are all chartered.

It's very odd.... that's over 30 days of non-continuous down time. Are they possibly doing some work on the ship in bits and pieces?

When does/should (month) the next bookings open for the British Isles 2021-2022 would you guess.

Hard to guess, Royal keeps changing the deployment scehdule, sometime between December 2019 to April 2020.

Got my corner afts on a Rhapsody b2b leaving Tampa in 2021. The rest of you can have Odyssey and those Oasis class beasts.

No backup for this cruise......guess I'm rolling the dice this time. It was a 10% increase from my Vision b2b 2020 winter sailing.

Royal appear to be having issues with Spectrum.

The Barcelona to Dubai mid April cruise has been red coded and not for sale for around month. One port schedule for Barcelona posted on social media shows Spectrum visit to start the repositioning to China crossed out.

Interesting. Wonder whats up

lol!

If they do.....maybe I'll have another company to sail with???

I was going to do a back up on Vision (11/10 day) but my DW doesn't want to be sailing 3 weeks as we will be doing the eastbound TA in April 2021

I tried to book the 11 night in February,  but price went up $400  per cabin while I was looking at the cabins.

Is that the Panama Canal one?  I was looking at it all day today figuring it was going to be going up in price fast.  Didn't book it

Yep. Around 4:30 the JS was $4,500. But two Aft balconies on deck 7 were $2,300 with the 340+ solo discount. No brainer, but price jumped to $2,700 while I was filling out information.

Just not fast enough.

Saw that one late last night....but we have a 80th birthday party for my MIL the beginning of February 2021. Plus 7152 and the 2 corner JS's were gone.

I might start booking last minute as the prices are a lot better.

Same happened to me.

Friend phoned me about a 9 night from Rome on Jewel. £1000 for 2 in a balcony guarantee.

I was almost home and 20 minutes later it was £1300 each.

A lot of good last minute deals about

If your looking at B Isles, have a look at Princess. They do a 12 night round trip.

Still don't know why Royal doesn't do it. Princess sails full most sailings.

This cruise will keep going up and never look back.....

Agree, 75+ % cruises I reserve the day they are released are higher closer to sailing. Plus, if waited wouldn't get my Corner/Afts in B2B... Had all mine booked before sat down to dinner last nite

I don't know about that.  Casino Royale was giving away cabins on the Panama Canal trips this January and Oasis TA is $550 on the GGG sale.

There is only one of these with a roundtrip right back to Tampa. Small ship with heavy demand.

My Explorer Holy Land in 2020 is a 1 of 1 and the prices have almost doubled since I booked day one. The Rhapsody November 2019 TA the balconies are now much more than what I paid for a JS (all suites are sold out).

Our Serenade April TA has been sold out of all Balconies/Suites since January.

Other personal examples.....

My Vision TA this September is Sold Out and the Mederteranian cruise before that the inside cabins are more expensive than what I paid for the corner aft on release date.

The Panama cruises were already crazy expensive the first hour they were released by Royal which really slowed demand and who really wants to be on Oasis for two weeks....lol. Not me!

See y'all in a few weeks!!

First day of release or last minute is best. Only you can get an Aft.

I got a corner Aft on Navigator Ta last November 6 weeks before it sailed for £550pp

Dubai Barcelona is £419pp and its never been that cheap.

I'm looking to go to Hong Kong, Shanghai, Bejing and Japan for a change.

Ta's are getti9ng more expensive and busy

Just checked and a balcony is now $880 more than yesterday morning.  Guess I procrastinated too long.😇
