We are booked on the Serenade Sept 6, 2020 from Vancouver to Hawaii.  Great timing for my schedule, but it does seem to be a couple of weeks early to be leaving the Alaska run.  Or is that just my imagination?

I am doing the Vancouver to Hawaii cruise on Radiance this fall. Our departure date is September 10, so not much difference.

We've also never seen Oasis class in Bayonne, but that's about to happen.  It's difficult to draw conclusions about what RCI will do when there's never been more than one Quantum class ship in the Atlantic at the same time.  My ultimate point is I think we'll see Odyssey in Bayonne sooner rather than later, just not during its initial winter.

Michael Bayley stated in an interview that Odyssy would be doing Florida / Barcelona homeports.

I also think Odyssey should come to Bayonne, eventually, but I don't know how soon, if ever, since Florida/Barcelona will be homeports. I mean, these ships are built for colder climates, as people say time and time again. It just doesn't make a ton of sense to homeport this class from Florida when you have the Oasis class ships. When Odyssey comes to FL, I hope they enhance outdoor activities and modify outdoor bar times. Because on the Anthem 9-night Bermuda/Caribbean runs, no bars were open at night outside, no deck parties, nothing. It was quite disappointing, especially being in the Caribbean...which is why you're there.

Eagerly awaiting the longer Caribbean cruises for winter 2021. Any insight on which ship(s) might to be offering them?

If you mean Nov 2021 to March 2022, we won't know that until about a year from now.

Some are already available. The rest will be released the week of March 11

I'm looking into longer cruises. Looks like all 7 day cruises have been announced, plus the Anthem from Bayonne & Grandeur from Baltimore. The March 11 announcement is likely for all longer cruises.

17 March 2021 Napier New Zealand has a booking in the name  of "Serenade of the Seas"

Good find, thx for sharing.

Royal seems to have left it very late to make the port bookings in Aus and NZ, unless they have already been made but aren't visible on the public websites.

Geoff was told today 2nd hand Serenade is doing the music charters that Radiance has done the last few years in October 2020.

I'm looking forward to the release of 2021 Australia and New Zealand cruises, and I'm hoping for a  Top- and Bottom-end cruise.
