What do you do with your tiles?

We use them as coasters, I've heard of people who put them in their back splash on their kitchen counters.

Tons of them are stacked on a shelf in a closet.

I have a whole bag of them in a closet somewhere.  I don't even bother to get them anymore.

I made trivets from some of mine. Each night at dinner time we are reminded of great cruise memories!

I used some of ours to make a serving tray; I have enough for at least 2 or 3 more.

I love the serving tray. I use mine to keep the table cloth in place on our lanai.

For the trivets I glued the tiles to a thin piece of wood cut to size.

I have quite a few that belonged to my parents.  I plan to make a tray out of those.  Then there is the wine cork tray that I have been meaning to make. 🙄

 

My woodworking uncle made a table with a tiled top out of his.

 

I currently use mine as decorative accessories.

I like the idea of using little easels to display them - I will have to head to Michael's if the temperatures in MN ever get above zero!

That sounds like a great and easy way to put them to good use, instead of just sitting in a drawer or in a bag in the closet.

My parents used theirs for the back wall of their tub/shower when they remodeled their guest bathroom.

We have a beach bar on our property and did the sink area with the tiles...it turned out pretty cool...

I like the serving tray idea. Mine are sitting in a closet although the once I just got on the Prinsendam, I am using as a coaster.

We live on the water and use them as coasters.  Love them.  Had never thought to use them other ways and love the serving tray idea....but need more of them as DH occasionally breaks one.  

Trivets are great, too.   Are they heat tolerant or just cold?

We use a handful of them for coasters, gave the rest away, and no longer accept tiles on our cruises. We have too much stuff already and are trying not to get more stuff.
