Looking at the Iona - she´s due for delivery in May. Float out was mid Feb, Ems river conveyance mid March.

Odyssey - delivery November, so float out maybe August, and Ems river conveyance September?

Officially river conveyance for the big ships is permitted only between October and March, so she goes at the beginning of October.

I seem to remember conveyance of other Q class ships a bit closer to delivery - like one month?

As delievery is due in the beginning of November conveyance can be late September.

Norwegian Encore was Sep 30th, delivery Oct 30th.

Obviously September 30th counts as October as the Norwegian Encore´s conveyance started in the evening of Sep 30th.

Book airfare for November?  Or the cruise before?  You can book airfare from air2sea for November.  I am sailing on Nov 5,  we booked airfare through royal

Refundable air through air 2 sea. Don’t pay until final payment. If the air pricecdrops it can be repriced.

I liked the streaming webcam Pt Canaveral had when they were building Terminal 1. Shame they quit doing that. I guess having a beam land on Grills in real time may have been a deciding factor

Ouch, I hope no one was hurt.
