While Rome is my favorite city EVER, it's not ideally suited to a cruise ship stop (it's an hour from the port and you need more than 6-7 hours to see it), so....  I'll have to say Istanbul. Fantastic sights, great food, decent Archaeological Museum and easy to get around on your own.

Least favorite? It would probably be a tie between Nassau and Ocho Rios

Favorite? Hands down, Rome! Love ancient Roman history and Rome is jammed packed with things pertaining to my interests.

Least favorite? Hmmm ... would have to think about that.

Rome is simply not a decent cruise port - you need a couple of hours each way from CV, giving you just a tantalizing taste of my favorite city - for ancient, renaissance and modern flavors - same as Florence.  For a port call, San Juan,  Funchal, St. Maarten all compete.

Worst are Falmouth, Ocho Rios, Nassau, and Freeport.

Favorite is Bermuda

Least favorite would be none

Agree with Bermuda as first.  Love it and have been there many times as a result (both by cruise and land vacations).  Followed by the ABC's and Barbados. (Obviously several favorites after Bermuda).

Least favorite - Falmouth, Jamaica.

Favorite port?......Hard to answer.  We've been on many, many cruises all over the world.  We do LOVE Bermuda, and have cruised there well over 20 times over the past 35 or so years, but you can't compare Bermuda with, say,  Amsterdam, Venice, Santorini, or St Petersberg,  All so different from each other and all hold some kind of uniqueness that can't be replicated in a different port.  It's like comparing apples to oranges.  Honestly, there's no port we really didn't like, but there might be a couple that if we don't go to again, that would be fine with us!

I have been to Europe many times but never to Europe, therefore for me who has only cruised to Us ports,South America and Canada there is no comparison to Bermuda.

What is your favorite Port and Why? Least favorite and why?

Penfolds Grandfather port, it is 12 years old and so smooth, just delicious.

Oh sorry, wrong type of port,

Sydney the harbour has it all.
