Thanks for asking. It is slowly improving. I have to wear one appliance all day and a 2 piece upper one at night. I have one appointment a week with a registered massage therapist for deep tissue massage and another for heat treatments through the TMJ clinic.

I can now easily slide my thumb into my mouth sideways. I have doubled my motion. Still have a way to go though.

I am glad there is progress but sorry it’s taking so long to rectify

Apologies to those who like to decorate early…. I’m not one of them …😜

IMG_5438.jpeg

We use to wait until after my sons birthday in December before putting up decorations. Now it's usually the first week in December. We always get a real tree and after a few weeks they start dropping their needles.

I have decorations going back to when the kids were born

We are on Serenade out of Boston on a NE/Canada cruise. They do a short fall schedule from Boston every year. We are in 9260, which is a center aft facing balcony. We typically book corners but there were none available. Love the big balconies on the aft.

We had 9660 next door a few weeks ago on Serenade

 Loved the balcony

We were going to have a extended family meet up in Virginia Water park ( part of Windsor Great Park) today for an Autumn walk, but its been cancelled due to bad storms expected. Disappointing as I haven't seen some of my neices and nephews and their families for a couple of years.

My immediate family is still coming over and I'll cook a roast dinner instead xx

I think we will only put up our pencil tree in our family room this year, since we are leaving so early for Florida.   That will have to wait till after Thanksgiving, because that is where we set up for Thanksgiving dinner, and we will have 12-14 people plus our big table we set up.

I think I shared somewhere here on CC but adding for this post, our 36th anniversary was earlier this week.  We try to do something each year and this year was a trip back to Charleston and the local area.

Happy Anniversary to you both!
Love the "then and now" pictures in front of the Pineapple Fountain.

So very sad.  A huge friends and Matthew perry fan.  His struggle with addiction was awful.  Very well detailed in his book.  😞

Very sad to hear he passed away at such a young age.  May he RIP

I've heard he has struggled with addiction problems for many years.

They are growing up too fast.   Seems like they were just born.

They are soon adorable.  Enjoy watching them grow up.   Never easy giving them away but I'm sure you have found them wonderful forever homes.

We stayed downtown, right across from the market, for 1 night then went across the bay to Mount Pleasant, much more reasonable and on the marsh, for another few nights.  We have been to Charleston before so have done most of tours so this time was wandering around, shopping, eating, and drinking so nit too many pictures.

The next few days we bopperd around to Folly Beach, Sullivan's Island, visited the Angel Oak a 400 year old hugh living oak, the USS Yorktown a retired navy vessel and stopped to tour Boone Plantation on the way back home.

Great few days where the weather cooperated beautifully.  Lots of great places, here are a few pictures from 36 years ago and this past week.

We had dinner at a restaurant called Church and Union, for anyone who the book The Art of War, the entire book is written on the ceiling.  Your bill is then out into the book, it's fairly short, where you can add notes etc the book.  Interesting place.  Lots of great restaurants in Charleston.

Not sure what, if anything, we’ll do for holiday decorations.  At our previous home we had a stained glass front door so couldn’t put a wreath up…. Once upon a time there I used to frequently have the house on the Christmas Tour so lots of decorations…including a lit tree up in the cupola.  One gets burned out.  Especially as it’s just the two of us.

I’ve considered having someone wrap lights around our palm tree here…or go with Christmas flamingos…

Soccer net in the corner of the field under the scoreboard.  Imagine if that was a soccer score. 🤯

If that was the endzone where that soccer net is stored, where was the goal post on that end of the field?

Loving the Christmas flamingos idea. I have kitchen towels and some ornaments with those.

Cuteness overload!

Andy's sister, who's going through chemo, recently said she wanted to get a cat.  We got her this instead.  Maybe I should reconsider.  🙂
