Love Actually is the ultimate Christmas movie for me.  Brings a smile to my face every time I watch it and tears at the end for the airport scenes.

Forgot that one. Bell has a Christmas Lobster

@Tree_skier what airline did you fly to Hawaii on.  How did it go

Have fun.

I flew Alaska airlines. I prefer them when flying on the west coast and have a lot of miles with them. We had an on time departure and an eventless flight. I scored an exit row seat so that was a bonus

Good times will be had, thanks.

Great pictures. I'm happy that you have as good feelings toward Adventure as I do.

A few photos from the last days. Owen’s hockey team had a skills night with some player position swaps. Owen was excited and switched from right winger to… goalie Owen. He did it once before a few years ago and he was very good at it all things considered.

Beautiful family, beautiful pictures.  So glad you're having fun.  Paradise Beach is our go to place in Cozumel.  Our turn on Adventure is in 2-1/2 months.  First cruise in 4 years.  Enjoy the rest of your cruise and have safe travels home.

George C, I am thinking that you are staying at the Hilton Marina  in Ft Lauderdale , if so, could you post your impressions of this hotel?

My DH and I were planning a stay there after a repositing cruise in Nov. 2020, but of course neither the cruise or the hotel was to be. We would consider the hotel again if we ever cruise into or out if Ft Lauderdale.

Thanks !

Ok so a little shout out to  @Sea Dog and @bobmacliberty

Here is the selection at the pool bar. I need recommendations 😇What should I have them make my old fashioned with.

I don't see any Kraken???? I spy some Bulleit. Not sure if it's their bourbon or rye but you could do an Old Fashioned from that. Or try a rum old fashioned.

One of our friends is in a female acapella choir.  Today they put on a Christmas pantomime. A group of us travelled up to watch. Our friend was one of the elfs and she was great and the choir were lovely. such a fun pantomime for all the little kids watching.

Nice way to ease into the Christmas season.  We put our tree up on the 1st December.

Sea Dog Christmas Decorations Are Finally UP !

After 3 weeks I finally got all the decorations up. The house feels very cozy. Since I did not want to post a ton of pictures I decided to put together a slide show of everything with music from the great Jackie Gleason Orchestra.

Fun Facts.

* 5 inside trees with 3, I did not set up. One being my vintage aluminum tree in the living room because of new furniture and the basement tree since we don't use the basement as much now a days. And 3 Jonathan's bedroom tree as he has it know at his house.

* All the tree toppers, mantle swags, garland, little displays and table settings were designed by my wife Linda. She is quite crafty and I love her ideas.

*The tree in the upstairs master is my parents original tree which is over 55 years old. It has over two hundred ornaments some of which are over 70 years old. There are over 200 ornaments on the tree.

*The Santa Collection was started by my mom. Most of the Santas are hand carved from wood and some of them are over 70 years old.

* Also from Linda's mom's house was the Jewelry Tree and the Ceramic Christmas Tree both over 60 years old.

* Outside has 3 Christmas trees, one on the front porch and the 3 animated trees in the back with 5 zones of 3 colors each with over 20 extension cords for each tree.

* My studio tree above the garage has my pride and joy an official Christmas Story Leg Lamp.

I tried to include everything in the video but we have so much stuff. I hope this gets you in the mood for the holidays.

Happy Holidays from the Sea Dog family.

Wow, blown away, beautiful Greg.

Hotel is nice we have a great view of the ships, no real inside restaurant or bar , outside bar is nice but only a few bar seats with lots of tables, we thought of eating there last night but took a Uber to a Italian restaurant instead IL Mulino , which was very nice with fantastic garlic rolls , lasagna was also really good. We go down for some breakfast then take a taxi or Uber to the ship. Room is nice and modern with a nice shower .
