Honningsvag con’t.  After the bird safari boat tour, we were taken back to the ship where there was a large souvenir shop at the port.

Pat, we went on our own.  Will you be taking public transportation while you are there?  We took the metro and then the city bus.  Google Maps or your hotel concierge can help you with your route.  Amsterdam is such a great place to visit.  Are you going on a cruise?

Did it take long to get there? We’re booked on a tour there, but maybe going on our own would be better. How much time did you spend there?

Katoomba & Leura - it would have been chilly walking your dog this morning as they had snow at 7.30am.  Only lasted 15 minutes though.

We have now locked in a date next month for our 20km walk on the newly opened Grand Cliff Top Walk in the Blue Mountains.

Yesterday was filled with festivals and fireworks.  The boys have been busy making movies, so they brought along an iPad to film some fireworks.

And speaking of Daryl, printing some door magnets for his next cruise.

That is the same design I used for everyone’s shirts.

What a difference a week makes, they hid for first couple of days , this morning they were in our bed and one of our Siamese kittens were jumping on my legs and feet .

Graham's daughter Abby just posted a new review for Omakase on Utopia of the Sea. I can't wait to try this dining experience. Enjoy the video!

You can take bus #800 from Central Station direct and it will take 27 minutes to get there.  It runs about every 20 minutes and 22.5 km or 14 miles to there.  Use your individual credit cards to tap in and out on the bus. That is how you pay.  They don’t take cash.

We were saying while we were there that we were glad to be doing this on our own instead of a tour.  We would’ve had to stick to the tour’s time schedule and be rushed at everything and probably wouldn’t have been able to see everything.

We visited pretty thoroughly and spent all day, like 6 hours.  You can probably do it in 4.  You can buy tickets there.  Tickets give you access to all the museums, inside the windmills, the Verkade Experience, digital audio tour, use of toilet facilities.  Otherwise, access to other locations and area are free of charge.

You will love it!  What are the ports you’re going to?  Are you and Renee on the same cruise?

Interesting.  I did read that they do not have kid’s pricing because it isn’t recommended for kids.

This isn’t something we will experience this time around.  We will be doing all kid friendly things.

Beautiful sunny day here.  We are headed out to another festival and outdoor concert this afternoon.

My daughter has a nice day to celebrate their 17th anniversary.  Man, did those years go fast.

Yes with only 6 seats it is meant for adults. The menu is for hard core sashimi and sushi people that most kids don’t care for the taste.

@dani negreanu. I read that retaliation has begun after yesterdays attack.  Would you consider leaving to be safe?

The retaliation is, for the time being, on the smaller scale.... Anyhow, it is a "lose-lose" situation, since the "front" is civilian settlements on both sides of the border.

We're doing "wait and see"....

Yes we are.  I think she’s on the TA across to Boston too.  We need to meet and say hi!

Just left our little dog in Arkansas with our daughter till September.  It’s like leaving a child and we miss her already.

Dani, praying for you and your safety.
