Jimbo is referring to stormin norman Freedman,  a Carnival staple, and not General Schwarzkopf who did indeed pass away 8 years ago.

Thanks Jeff.  Thought moat would have known him here.  There was not a Carnival event I went to that he was not there.  Prob has close to 500 cruises on Carnival.

oh wow. I don’t know him but I know him. He runs some of the carnival fb groups and we’ve chatted. I had no clue he was so well known. I have noticed they’ve been slipping on keeping spam off of his vista page lately.

Oh no!!! I had the pleasure of meeting him in 2017 on Norwegian Bliss Panama Canal cruise.

He organized an amazing tour for us in Guatemala. 

After that I never heard from him again as I don't have Facebook. My condolences to Diane and his family.  So sad.

Very sad news!  He has been posting Cruise news throughout this whole Pandemic.  Norm’s passing is truly a loss for the Cruise Community.  Condolences to Diane and his Family.

Sad to hear. Cruised with Norman several times, latest being last September, Vancouver to Hawaii cruise. He will be missed.

I liked cruising with him.  He was a friendly, outgoing guy who with his partner Diane, were very friendly.  R.I.P. Norman.  You will be missed.

He probably had close to 1000 cruise days before he passed, he was at around 700 when I met him and Diane a few years ago.  I was stunned, he was such a character, feel so bad for Diane 😞
