Foods you miss on Celebrity

Since not very many people are cruising right now so I want to concentrate on my  positive experiences in the past and in this case, specifically favorite foods.  I don't expect anyone to agree with me because food is such a personal thing.  But I would like to hear what food(s) you miss.

Here are some of our favorites:

- lemon tarts in Bacio

- short ribs in Tuscan Grill

- pistachio danish in Luminae

- fresh bread selection in Luminae

- evening stir fry in Oceanview

- cocktail in Ensemble Lounge

- table prepared muslix in Blu (that's long gone)

- some of the items in Qsine (now long gone)

On our recent cruises we have mainly dined in the speciality restaurants. Much as we are looking forward to their fine food again some of the food treats we have missed have been simple....

a biscuit and coffee very early morning at Bacio

coffee and croissants on the balcony

a lunchtime buffet browse resulting in a very mixed plate....

our Butler’s ‘Evening snack’ left in our fridge to enjoy stargazing

Not that many local restaurants serve good lamb except our Greek place which has one set and Celebrity always had a fun and varied lamb selection that I could never miss.

We had fun dining in Qsine with all the various choices. we dine there on every S-Class cruise we do. Unique experience.

I especially like

Room service coffee

Lobster in champagne sauce in Luminae

Prime rib in the MDR

Eggs benedict anywhere on the ship

Coffee from El Bacio

At the Oceanview cafe:

Breakfast blintzes

Frozen yogurt

Fish at the grill

At the MDR

Duck

Rack of Colorado lamb (can be the best or just so-so, depending on the chef)

Never ate in any of the specialty restaurants.

A burger and fries by the pool

Ah yes, do it gorilla style

- get a couple of pieces of cheese from the OV Cafe.  Ask for a burger hot off the grill and slap the OV cheese on top.

- ask for a hot dog and ask it to be split long-wise and slap on top of the cheese burger

- ask for a scoop of fried onions ON TOP OF YOUR FRIES, then slap the other piece on cheese on top.

- wash it down with your favorite cerveza (Pacifico if they have it).

Now you are talking decadent!

Goat cheese soufflé.

Definitely miss the tableside muesli at Blu.  Wish they would bring that back.

The chocolate bombe thing in Luminae that they set aflame.

Almond croissants from Bacio.

All the soufflé s are good, love the goat cheese and the dark chocolate one in  Murano.

Onion soup and multiple creme brûlée

All of the above YES,  but I just wish I could get a Modelo Negra on Celebrity!
