Good morning Dailyites and thank you for the Daily Report.

Pollen count is very high, and it is going to be close to 80 degrees this afternoon.

I have a periodontal appointment this morning, otherwise a normal workday.

I hope everyone here has a wonderful day!

Good morning.  Happy Hump Day!

Thanks for the Report.  Love the maps.

Cool and clear this morning, lots of stars in the sky.  It's such a wonderful time of the day, so peaceful.

Three interesting days.  I didn't realize there was a particular day to fill my stapler.  I learn something everyday.  Every day should be a day a girl can win and we always honour veterans, especially K9s.

Good quote.

A bran muffin makes a good breakfast, I'd like some fruit in mine.  I hope the drink and wine are tasty too.

I've never been to Japan.

Prayers for everyone on the Care List.  Cheers for all the celebrations.

Have a wonderful day.  Stay safe.

Good morning friends!  Today it's 45F with an expected high temp of 73 and partly cloudy skies.  I believe DH has our roofer coming out to inspect our roof and hopefully take care of any problems he sees.  We had a little water coming into the attic after our big rains (2.25 inches) overnight last Friday.  We saw evidence on the primary bathroom ceiling.  If you can stop the water intrusion and see a slight stain on your ceiling you can use a misting spray bottle filled with 50/50 bleach and water on it.  Protect or remove anything below it of course.  My tip of the day.😉

Thanks to Jacqui @kazu and Roy @rafinmd for posting the Fleet Report and Daily as well as the fleet location maps for Rich @richwmn.  Do we really need a day to remind us to fill our staplers?  Every girl wins day sounds great, and I salute K9 Veterans!  No comments come to mind on the quote, bran muffins don't sound like a complete meal to me, but I don't mind them.  No thank you to the drink and wine today.  Wow, two big discoveries of planets on this date in history and a useful invention in the horse racing world.  Thank you Debbie @dfish, Dixie @summer slope and Ann @cat shepard for your reports today!

Prayers for DB, great nephew Alex's twins, Scott and Susan, and all our Dailyites in need of them. I try to name all of you personally! 🙏 Also to the people of Israel and Ukraine, the hostages still held, and our men and women in uniform in the region.  Good luck to Chuck @catmando at his procedure today and to Annie @marshhawk as she tries to keep everything together during these difficult times.  🙏

Congratulations to Pauline on her birthday today!  May you have many more Pauline! 🎂 For all others with special events and cruises, I send my best wishes to you all.  🥂  Thank you so much Vanessa @JazzyV for your list keeping.  I believe DGD Morgan will be fine so you can take her off the list.  I'll keep you updated.  Hope you are doing well this morning!👍

The port destination today is Aomori, Japan.  This was our port three times before on April 9, 2021, Dec. 14, 2022, and July 29, 2023.  I have not been there before but do have the links ready for you if you need them to retrieve your photos.  Here they are.

I got an updated shingles shot yesterday and it's really making my left arm sore.  Hope it doesn't affect my progress on the cross stitch project.  I'm going as fast as I can to get that completed before September so I can deliver it in person at DGD Ashley and her fiancé's wedding.

Have a good day today everyone.  Stay safe and keep well!

Happy Wednesday. Thank you for the Daily and Fleet reports.

Fiona seems to be feeling a little better. She is on an appetite stimulant. She ate a little on her own last night. She seems more active, wanting to hang out with us in the living room and purring up a storm. I am holding off on force feeding her to see how she does on her own. Keep your fingers crossed that she can get through this.

Having my sump pump replaced today.

So far, it has been a rather stressful week. I have a facial set for Sunday. Need some time to myself.

Thinking of all on the care list.

Celebrating with all who are celebrating.

Have a safe and healthy day.

I fill my stapler when it needs it, but haven't used it in ages, I support girls winning and K-9 vets definitely deserve recognition.

I like the quote, would try the drink and wine, muffins don't seem like an actual meal but I'll eat one, not been to the port.

Big days in history.

The call w/my boss was a bust yesterday - his boss was a no show so he stammered around, said he wasn't organized and eventually said he needed to go and ended the call. So, I'm sure there will be a round 2.

Nothing but work on today's schedule and it will be light if my sinuses don't clear up - can't work on a computer w/a headache.

**I read on a CC thread this morning that MDR lunch on Embarkation Day has been discontinued fleetwide. Can someone who is currently on a BHB inquire and let us know, please?** If true, that's very disappointing. DH is a Lido guy and Embarkation Day lunch is one of the few times he will eat in MDR.

Currently 63° headed to 79°. My sinuses are killing me - I hope the air clears up.

Prayers and positive thoughts for all. 🙏

Good morning, everyone!

It is quite balmy out this morning in mid-Michigan with promises of another beautiful day of sunshine and temps in the high 60s.  Heading to the gym in a bit and then nothing planned.  Should be a nice day.

@grapau27 Happy Birthday to Pauline.

Bran muffins do not make a meal, but might accompany my eggs and sausage at breakfast.  https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/bran-muffins-recipe/

This next one suggests mixing in some raisins or blueberries or walnuts.  I'd prefer chocolate chips.  https://www.ambitiouskitchen.com/grandmas-healthy-bran-muffins/

This one adds in the zest of an orange and pureed raisins.  https://alexandracooks.com/2012/06/20/the-bran-muffin-to-end-all-bran-muffins/

So, the next time you can't sleep, whip up a batch of these muffins for breakfast.  At least one system of the body will be working properly.

Wishing you all a wonderful day.

Thank you Jacqui, thank you Roy, thank you Debbie, thank you Vanessa, thank you Ann, and thank you Dixie for all your work.  And thank you everyone for being here!

Enjoying some very nice weather this week. Sam is well! Today I am going back to the car dealership for some "training" on some of it's features. I have to give Subaru credit for keeping contact post delivery. I am meeting with a product specialist to make use of all of the electronics  buiilt in.

Stay Safe, and prayers for those in need.

Running super late will check back later.

Mark West Pinot Noir

Having had enjoyed a bottle or two of this California PN, I was stunned to see how easy to find and priced to try it is. The first two bottles I enjoyed were outside of Denali National Park. Online prices start at $10.98!

Distributor notes

The 2021 Mark West Pinot Noir is a classic, medium-bodied red wine grown in California’s northern and central regions. This wine brims with layers of red and dark cherry that are complemented by notes of toasted oak, brown spice and nutmeg. The mouthfeel is full and plush with a long, rewarding finish.

WINERY: MARK WEST

Mark West was founded in 1978 with one desire - to craft remarkable Pinot Noir that delivers exceptional quality at an affordable price. Our name, Mark West, is an ode to a region in the heart of Sonoma county, one of the world's best places to grow Pinot Noir. It was here that we started our winery and our passion for Pinot.

Nothing worth obsessing over ever came easy. And that's certainly the case for Pinot Noir. The grape is an interesting one: It's thin-skinned and fickle, which means it's not easy to grow. Even the slightest change in temperature can throw it off, which is why we look for the best cool, dry climates when choosing our vineyards. But, when it's done right, the result is a wonderfully complex wine. The perfect Pinot, in an infinite number of expressions. It's unlike any other grape.

Pinot Noir the grape is hard to grow, and once it enters the winery it's important to have a gentle hand during the winemaking process. Each and every aspect matters, which is why we have devoted ourselves to Pinot Noir—so we can get it right. To make the best Pinot Noir, we first gently destem and crush the grapes when they come into the winery. Daily punch-downs and pump-overs extract flavor and color. And after a light pressing we use French oak to marry the flavors you find naturally in Pinot Noir. At Mark West we focus on quality, and let the grapes speak for themselves. Each harvest is a new adventure, each crop is different, and each year we bring you the wines that you love.

A very nice and memorable evening and special dinner.

Good morning from Road Town Tortola BVI. No stapler to fill but hooray for the other 2 days. Pass on the meal and drinks and never been to the port. Interesting quote and days in history.

Been trying to stay busy but I find that I do get a tad weepy at times. I went on a very interesting excursion yesterday and went into an ice cold pool beneath a waterfall. It kept me busy most of the day-which helped. Thanks to all for the condolences 🥰

Today I will be chilling out and looking forward to the crew talent show tonight.

Thoughts for those who are in need of support and cheers to those celebrating. Have a great day everyone!
