Woo Hoo... Pinnacle now equals Zenith on Celebrity

Ya I know Diamond+ to Pinnacles is easier to reach than Elites+ to Zeniths.

I don’t know the points structure for X, but on Royal, D+ is at 175 and Pinnacle is 700. That’s a long way to go. We cruise alot, but we’re starting to spread our wings, so we may not get there on Royal.

I am a genuine Elite ( equiv of D) on X

Zenith starts at 3000 so I have 2476 points to go.

Points are allocated based on cabin grade booked. A balcony is 3pn. So I would have to spend 825 nights on X in a balcony to get to Zenith.
There is 525 nights at a point per night separating D+ to Pin.

So yes, it is much harder to achieve which is why there are about 800 Zs only. And probably explains why us Ziniths are not being welcomed with open arms. 🤗

It's interesting to me how X is handling the free Zenith drink package and wifi.

With Royal CAS discounts only work once on board.

For Zenith you have to pre-order the drink and wifi package ahead of time, at zero cost.

For an August sailing:

They haven't loaded the same Zenith discounts for a September sailing yet:

IIRC for my August sailing the Zenith discounts loaded after check in.

Generally speaking the Royal cruise planner has never been aware of suite or CAS membership.

Either way with a premium drink package I don't need Retreat access.  Real Z's can have it.  I'll be at a bar.

Edited - Never mind. I see the answer to my question now.

I do wish every Pinnacles think like you.I believe Celebrity offering more to Pinnacles than RCL offering to Celebrity Zeniths.Thats why the Zeniths are not very happy about it.

Any way happy cruising whatever cruise ship you on.

Thanks.

Or on X you get 240 minutes of internet, which if you plan using it well, can last the entire cruise.  😄

That’s what I liked about the internet on X when we last cruised on them. If you just want to check your emails you would only use that amount of time. On Royal it’s in blocks of 24 hours. Ugh!

I can understand your point of view.

We’re getting closer to Pin. This has made us want to finish out as soon as budget allows so we can get top perks with both Celebrity and Royal. We were looking at other lines but now this may keep us in the family. Unless it’s a specific itinerary that Royal and Celebrity doesn’t do it makes sense for us to stay.

It definitely was a well placed carrot on a string for us!  🙂

In a Sky suite it would take a total of 375 nights to go from zero to Zenith.

In a Concierge or Aqua balcony it would take 600 nights total. Had we started sailing on X the day after we reached Pin on Royal, we would be Zenith on X already.😇

I guess it’s definitely possible if we just only book suites, which I would not mind at all 😀

I may start doing that on ships with CK. Were doing the Odyssey TA again in the fall and we got a JS this time, so along with the added points, I’m hoping if I smile sweetly at the guard at the gate (booking desk) outside CK, we may get in some nights.

Anyone else offered an extra point for accepting once per day cabin service on X?

Seems kinda pointless (pun intended) when you are a Z with 164 points.

Not offered to us and I agree on "pointless pun"!!!

Does seem pointless given that situation. Their GoGreen program is not an extra point, it’s an extra nights worth of points based on cabin. Balcony would get 3, Sky Suite 8, etc.

Since we are E +, we need all the help we can get!

Does the Pinnacle Pins offer to Zenith member on Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor Society ?If not this is why Zenith members are so unhappy about.

Seems to me is one way street.

Yes Zeniths are offered Pinnacle perks if they choose to sail on RCI - hardly any Zeniths wear a name badge. It is not a “thing”.

sorry to be dense here....but I guess I'm confused.

1.  Have Zeniths always had a pin ?

2.  Are they just now being offered a pin ?

3.  Are Pinn Z's being offered an X pin ?

4.  Are Z Pinn's being offered a Royal pin ?

Watch out.  I hear counterfeit Pinnacle and Zenith Pins are flooding the market.  How do you know if that P or Z you are chatting with wearing a nice shiny pin is authentic?😀

Does Pinnacles received email for the Pin?

If not this email is only for Celebrity Zeniths only.
