Rare ski ww Posted January 27, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2019 We use them as coasters, I've heard of people who put them in their back splash on their kitchen counters. 1

sue1898 Posted January 27, 2019 #6 Share Posted January 27, 2019 I made trivets from some of mine. Each night at dinner time we are reminded of great cruise memories! 5
ger_77 Posted January 27, 2019 #7 Share Posted January 27, 2019 I used some of ours to make a serving tray; I have enough for at least 2 or 3 more.
Floridiana Posted January 27, 2019 #8 Share Posted January 27, 2019 I love the serving tray. I use mine to keep the table cloth in place on our lanai.

Iamthesea Posted January 27, 2019 #12 Share Posted January 27, 2019 I have quite a few that belonged to my parents. I plan to make a tray out of those. Then there is the wine cork tray that I have been meaning to make. 🙄 My woodworking uncle made a table with a tiled top out of his. I currently use mine as decorative accessories.
Overhead Fred Posted January 27, 2019 #13 Share Posted January 27, 2019 I like the idea of using little easels to display them - I will have to head to Michael's if the temperatures in MN ever get above zero!

JimnKaren Posted January 27, 2019 #15 Share Posted January 27, 2019 I buried ours in the yard. Some day, long time from now, I figure archeologists will dig them up and wonder. Jim

ellieanne Posted January 28, 2019 #17 Share Posted January 28, 2019 I use mine as coasters on my dining room table. I have blue & cream placemats & napkins to match. My parents used theirs for the back wall of their tub/shower when they remodeled their guest bathroom.

SJSULIBRARIAN Posted February 4, 2019 #23 Share Posted February 4, 2019 I like the serving tray idea. Mine are sitting in a closet although the once I just got on the Prinsendam, I am using as a coaster.
HokiePoq Posted February 4, 2019 #24 Share Posted February 4, 2019 We live on the water and use them as coasters. Love them. Had never thought to use them other ways and love the serving tray idea....but need more of them as DH occasionally breaks one. Trivets are great, too. Are they heat tolerant or just cold? whogo Posted February 4, 2019 #25 Share Posted February 4, 2019 We use a handful of them for coasters, gave the rest away, and no longer accept tiles on our cruises. We have too much stuff already and are trying not to get more stuff.
