beej;  in regards to your question I have stayed in balcony cabin on Allure in the boardwalk area.  We had a view of both the ocean and the entire boardwalk area including the aqua theater where they do the diving shows.  It was great room

What decks are best for ocean view balcony on the Allure.

Personally I like deck 8 as it is easy access to Central Park and an easy walk down to the Boardwalk or Promenade. If you like being closer to the pool deck then choose deck 12.

Our preference on Oasis class ships is also deck eight for exactly the same reasons.

Deck 8 used to be my favorite but now it's deck 6 with deck 8 the second choice

+1

Easy access to Schooner and Boardwalk

Just avoid 7😉

But I think my next sailing on her is deck 7 aft🤣🤣

Why is everybody giving away what the best deck ( 8 ) is .

Now it will be harder for you to get your best deck.

Tell em  deck 10 or  ?

... inside cabins on deck 3 are awesome....

No...no...deck 8 for sure.  Keeps my favorite choice of deck 12 open more.  😄

Fingers crossed you get to go!
