All those I mentioned were on UK TV.

The best British series are.

Only Fools and Horses.

Porridge.

The Bill.

Midsummer Murders.

Coronation Street.

The Good Life.

The Likely Lads.

Steptoe and Son.

I love Midsomer Murders and As Time Goes By.  We’ve been watching Murder, She Wrote on Pluto, the free streaming service.  They also have Midsomer Murders.  I tried an episode of Rockford Files and was amazed at how old it seemed.  In so many of those shows everybody smokes.  I didn’t remember that.

I'm more "into" British TV - keeping up appearances (when I tell DH to be careful while driving, he quotes: "mind the bicycle..."), last of the summer vine, are you being served, 2.4 children, to the manor born, as time goes by and hello-hello.

I've seen Dallas and Dynasty when we lived in Brussels....

I was just watching an episode last night of Keeping Up Appearances and her father was driving and the whole family piled into Onslow's car and were chasing after him in.      "watch the woman on the sidewalk"

As Time Goes By is another good one.    I watched some of Midsummer murders but will have to binge on that sometime soon.

Loved Dallas! Everyone visiting us wants to tour Southfork which technically is in a small town, Parker, near Dallas, not far from us.  Only one episode was filmed at that location when, I THINK, Mary Crosby jumped into the pool. House is a very small replica down to the yellow stripe awning.

My cousin was friend's with Morgan Brittany who played Katherine, Pam and Cliff's half sister on the show.  I used to get hot tips all the time lol

I stopped watching when they resurrected Bobby from the dead.  I mourned him and hated the story line. lol

Laura liked the California spin off Knotts Landing.  I still remember William Devane and Nicollet Sheriden playing naked croquet

I don't think so 🙂 I grew up outside of St. Louis and then moved to Joplin for a semester at Ozark Christian College.

I did the smart thing. Moved from WC to St Louis.

I didn’t make it to St Louis but I have made it to the race track between Fairmount and National City called World Wide Technology Raceway. Drove past SunCoke Energy plant on the way in, it looked like something from Mad Max.

Spent the night in Collinsville and found an amazing steak house called Porters.  Had Waffle House the next morning for breakfast on the way Indy. Saw St Louis from afar.

Dynasty and Knots Landing

In the mid 80’s I wrote 13 episodes of a TV show satirizing late night soap operas .I titled it Cats Landing and tried to sell the idea to NBC as they were the only network that did not have a soap opera at the time.Supposedly they liked what I wrote but told me they were working on a late night soap opera. The person I spoke to offered to speak to Lorne Michaels thinking that he might be interested in my writings for Saturday Night Live.Michael’s liked it but said that they had their own writers,

I changed Cats Landing into a play and along with several co-workers we performed it for the company that we were working for.

Sorry to hear that. We had lots of pets as kids and I still think fondly of my pigs.  My 20 something year old niece just got into the pigs, she has 4.

When my son was young years ago I bought him one.  Weirdly that one turned into two somehow.  Holy moly, it was an immaculate conception.  Then the things got crazy and those two turned into 4.  At that rate I would have had about 100 by year's end if I didn't put a end to the situation.  I found homes for the three additions and fortunately no other miracles occurred.

We also bought one and one day my daughter came out of her room telling us there were 2 babies. We thought she was kidding. She was pregnant when we bought her or immaculate conception! I think we had 6 guinea pigs over time and they were are great. Then we moved onto rabbits.

For old British tv I grew up watching the great Diana Riggs play Emma Peel on the avengers. I personally am addicted to old 50’s and 60’s westerns like Gunsmoke and Have gun will travel among others.

The Big Valley. With a young Linda Evans & Lee Majors

Have not even heard of it.

It's on the Paramount network, if you get that channel.

Also can find it on the Peacock streaming platform.

The Montana scenery is spectacular.

Eric loves when I squeal like a guinea pig.    Its been a talent of mine for many years - LOL!

We should have a contest.  My daughter thinks they are gross, I have to tell her how cool they are and then demonstrate their cool squealing sound.  Our lab freaks out when I do, she does not like that sound at all.
