I am sure it will be beautiful when done.     As you know after years of doing renovation projects, every job comes with some type of frustration and usually some cursing (at least in my house).

Maybe throw a tad bit of extra rum into his HH cocktail.

Took him out to lunch, he enjoyed a nice draft beer....and indeed his drink will be "generous" tonight.  😉

He is working on the electric wiring right now, which he "sort of" enjoys.  It's the plumbing he really hates.  😮   His "plumbers crack" is kind of cute though.  😊

Yes, that is very sad for many many people.   Hopefully some day soon they will slowly restart to the recovery stage.

Indeed been very tough on so many.......plus we are all in need of that "cruise fix"....to ease our souls.  😉

Soooo funny Dave!   Yup...that is exactly what Bucky says when he settles into his recliner...."Ohhh...Ahhh!".

We actually muscle them into the "land yacht" to relax in comfort when we do the weeks or months long trips.  Took out the ugly pull out couch that came with the motor home.  😉

Once off the road...back into the house they go.  Would buy two sets, but the land yacht is not long for this world.  Who ever buys the motor home....won't get those chairs.  😉

I grew up with everything Mopar.    My Father raced stock cars back in the day so I have been around everything cars my entire life.     My Brother and Father have restored many mopars throughout the years and I have helped too.    I restored 2 of my own cars when I was a teenager.    I remember my Mother yelling out the front door at me one day as I was under the car with a torch replacing my muffler.  She kept telling me wait for your brother to get home and of course, i didn't listen I was 16 yrs old and on my own mission.    An hour later I was done, showered and picking up my girlfriends for a weekend at the shore.       To do this day, I still change oil and brakes for all our cars myself and try my best to do whatever else I can myself, but they don't make it easy to do yourself anymore.

My Brother has a warehouse that has about 10 or 12 classic cars that he has either restored or in the process of restoring.     2 of his favorites are his 1970 hemi cuda and his 1969 dodge charger R/T.     My DH, Eric, knew nothing about cars when I first met him but he has learned a lot over the last 25+ years,

Well, I'm impressed. I just point and say "something's wrong."

I am so sorry, I don’t know what I did and it wasn’t upside down when I drank itimage.png.866385043bd226fd6045a94686c1c4d8.png

I was wondering if you drank that many and that's why upside down - LOL!

Glad to hear you made it to AC.    Any luck at the casinos?

Did you get on the boardwalk?   Probably rather chilly as it is really windy here in PA.

We are at Harrahs, a nice suite but lost money 😢Tomorrow we will see how it goes because more things will be open.  Apparently, only Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday have things open.  Will not come back during the week.  Most of the different towers were closed so not much choice room wise.  Luckily, I am friends with one of the checkin girls so she put us in the tower we wanted even though most of it is closed.  At least it is quiet!!   Dry few food options.

No luck at the slots yet but a great meal at Morton’s Steakhouse

I love Mortons,  I've been to the ones in San Jose, Anaheim, West Palm Beach, Cincinnati and the Galleria one in Houston.  I love them.  My first one ever was Cincinnati.  I've been hooked ever since.

Well today was a big day. It was my last work day in Canada.  Tuesday night we decided to stick a fork in it and call it done. I realized that no matter how much I do there will always be more that needs to be done and I have to let the folks that I have trained carry that on without me. Wednesday and this morning I wrapped up my final commitments and tomorrow we begin our move back to California.  I've just finished the bulk of the packing and will wrap up the rest tomorrow in the morning.

We will drive back to Vancouver where we'll spend, at most, 7 days (hopefully 4) sorting some things out then cross the border.  Feb 16th 2020 we crossed back into Canada for a short four week visit, some things happened and eleven and a half months later we are leaving.

It is a bitter sweet day.  I've been anxious to get back home to my family, home and work there.  However I'm little sad to leave my "home and native land".  Having lived in the US since 2015. I had forgotten how much I loved and missed some things in Canada. Surprisingly, I have had my fill of snow but will miss the remarkable beauty that is unmatched by any place in the world.  Of course it snowed again today just to give me one final, glorious, white send off.  As far as days in lockdown is concerned. This was the biggest so far.

You look happy.

A carton of cherries and a carton of Raspberries and in Venice too.👍

Dark sweet cherries come a close 2nd to the "cub's" favorite raspberries 😁.

Cherries can be found in Israel for a short period of time, at a PRICE...

A must visit to every market -- St. Lawrence Market (Toronto)
