But I have friends in low places. Where the whisky drowns and beer chases my blues away. And I'll be okay. 😄😄🙃😁

Safe travels tomorrow!  How great that you were able to get tickets to the Concert!

I love Princess dining. Our last cruise before COVID was a 27 day and the menu never repeated.
Having your balconies open sure makes a cruise extra special!

27 days? Wow. Not sure if I have the personality for cruises longer than 10 days. 9 days has been my longest so far and that's close to my max.

Princess is very traditional in their ship design as they cater to people that prefers the old style instead of the WOW style of RCI. But Princess has the interesting feature of the medallion.

You use that medallion as room ket as well as ID chip. Takes the Disney world concept of magic band to another level. Automatically open all cabin rooms as you walk up. Never need to take key out of pocket.

Also acts as ID such that you walk up to any bar, the worker will see your name and face on their ipad and they greet you by your name and if you on drinks package, you order whatever and you never need to tap or sign anything to pay. They know to charge the drinks to your package automatically.

For the ultimate in laziness,  you place any drinks on the app and you can be anywhere on the ship and with the medallion app, they will deliver your drink to you based on where the software can track you. Or so the theory goes...

Just ordered 4 drinks to be delivered. 55 degrees outside on balcony but no wind hitting us. I'm in t shirt.

Mine was my second booster as well but I had a 3 dose primary series which was aimed at those who were immunocompromised.

Safe travels and have a wonderful cruise.   Kinda wish we hadn't cancelled this one since we had a suite at a sweet price😃

Guess it worked out for the best since I started a new job last week and already told them of 3 booked cruises plus vacation at our shore house after summer/september tenants are done.

Sorry we won't get to meet.  That is one understanding new boss you have.

Extended my stay in Houston by a few extra days. Found out Garth Brooks was having a concert, his very last one in North America on his current concert tour. I'm a huge Garth fan but my DW absolutely LOVES him. Probably has everyone of his albums,  his music would fill our house while she sang along, we attended his previous concerts at least 6 or 7 times, including a very intimate one man show when he had a residency at the Wynn hotel casino in Vegas.

Anyways, even though she could not attend with me, it still felt like the right thing to do. It was as if it was a sign.  The show was fantastic, fun, ear splitting & at times a bit too emotional.  He is a great performer  & knows how to engage the crowd. So glad I went & met a few good super fans along the way .

Tomorrow, leave for the long road trip back to NY.

I'm also a Garth fan. I think his song "The River" is the one of his that I like best. I've sung it many time.

That sounds very similar to the reaction I had to my Moderna booster after having the first couple Pfizer.  It gets better.

I got Moderna as my 2nd booster after having Pfizer for the first 3. Wow, was it different. I felt pretty bad for 2.5 weeks with heart palpitations and fatigue. I was not expecting that after only minor reactions the other times. 😬

Just notified of another 30 minute delay.  Decided to brave the line at Timmy's...need  some caffeine after a couple beers and a subpar burger. New departure time 10:25.

@OurusualbeachKen, Vikki and (daughter?),  @John&LaLaJohn, Laura have a super wonderful cruise.

I've been following Jordan Bauth's you tube vlog, Aboard With Jord.  She's a pro figure skater on Voyager and documents daily life on board, visits to most of the wonderful ports of call, etc.  Looks like an amazing itinerary.

My next batch of cruises will be nine B2B/S2S for 61 days at sea (there is one day on land in the middle when I change ships).  And I STILL won't want to come home!

I'd gladly be the female version of SuperMario if I had a sugar daddy or won the lottery or something!
