Thanks everyone! We're looking forward to returning to the high seas next Saturday SO. MUCH!!!

But I'm embarrassed thatI forgot to notify y'all of the changes to ship and itinerary: we're sailing on June 26th on the EDGE, not the MIllennium--and hence out of FLL. We go to Cozumel, Costa Maya, and...Nassau (which might be a "sea day," lol). Have visited these ports many times & happy to return.

We jumped ship from the Millennium after they changed both the testing protocols AND the itinerary several times (from St Lucia which was "do not travel" to St Kitts; folks on our same itin. were then switched to the Dutch Antilles when St Kitts went into lockdown, etc.). It was going to cost us another $300 just to get re-tested on the island (AFTER the $60 health insurance and pre-testing for SXM) not to mention spending extra hours of our vacay crossing the island to stand in line at the clinic in the hot sun...

Finally we said "Hey, there's another ship--bright, shiny, barely-used-- leaving on the 26th, at less than half capacity, everyone vaccinated... And Mexico is deemed safe to travel! And NO TESTS." Boom. Very easy: Celebrity allows up to 48 hours precruise notice to cancel, no change fees on airlines, free hotel cancellations. (So there's a sky  suite available if ya wanna go to St Maarten next week, lol)

This will not only be the first voyage out of the US but also our first time on the Edge--helmed by the newly-married Capt. Kate! Super excited!!!

So excited for you! And I hope that you post back here on what you find (we can compare to the BBH ships to stay on topic) We'd like to live vicariously through the adventure! Smooth sailing!

Will do! Have not been down that way this time of year... Looks like there's a new beach in Cozumel; it will be fun to see what's what.

Bon Voyage!!  Have a great time! ️🛳

Woo girl, I know y'all are living HOT these days (mother in Sierra Vista).  Sending wishes for cooling breezes, clouds--and a real monsoon this year!

We sure need it!  It was 100 at 10:00 am and  the pool was 90 at noon today.  Sierra Vista is probably almost as hot!
