We pay 10% on goods and services bought/supplied in Australia (with some exemptions). Prices on his website are in AUD and include GST. He has a physical gallery in Cooma (45 mins from Jindabyne) and he specialises in photos of the Snowy Mountains region. His online shop photos are of birds, dingoes, horses, eagles & raptors, monotremes (such as Echidnas), Kangaroos & Wallabies, Night time creatures such as possums and sugar gliders, landscapes and of course wombats. There is a range of wombat in the snow photos. Ours is Guthega Wombat 2. Its says on his website to make an email enquiry for overseas purchases. The tourist place had a beautiful coffee table book. I almost bought it. Only realised when I was looking at his online site just now that it contains his photos… Good luck with the sale & the move and hopefully having a Wombat in the snow photo on your wall in the future. 2

Not sure if they ever determined how long natural immunity lasts, same goes for boosters. My Doc told me wait a min. As with many microbes, becoming infected produces natural antibodies. That doesn't mean you can't become reinfected. It means subsequent infections will either remain subclinical (produce no symptons), or have milder symptoms, and hopefully will be of shorter duration. What is pretty clear, at least to me, is that becoming infected produces antibodies to many more proteins of the covid virus than the vaccines do. This should provide better protection from subsequent infections since, as the virus mutates, you have better odds that you will have antibodies that match up with some parts of the virus. 11 8

Just think it's way to early if years from now what effects Covid has on the people that did catch 1 strand or 2 strands of the virus..........At this time no one knows what the long term effects Covid might be for all these people that did catch the virus.............So still think it's better for people that never caught the virus. So I WISH some people would stop saying they now feel better since they eventually did catch it. I would hope people would still think it's not a good thing to have caught the virus.

Jimbo, think of it as plan A and plan B. Plan A is best if you never catch the virus. Plan B is inevitable. I think I had it last Xmas, but I tested multiple times and never tested positive. I took a test for fun last spring when I was having seasonal allergies, and it showed positive, so I went and got tested 3 more times within a few days and all were negative. So, how do you know you actually have been infected. So, when Plan B occurs, it is for the best, as it may help you in the future (no guarantee). I felt like crap after both of my Pfizer shots. Who knows the downside long term of those, it hasn’t been studied yet. So, that part of Plan A may be worse than Plan B. I don’t know you don’t know. Judging when you don’t know is just…. JC I wasn't judging anyone, it's all just so unknown. Just don't know why some people say what they say. Better to say nothing about it don't you think? There is tests that can tell you if you ever had Covid in the past, No idea how much they cost or if they are covered by health insurances. Antibody (Serology) test. Both times, she tested negative multiple times while I continued to test positive.

I have worked in real estate/mortgage business since early 90s. Majority of sales the buyer is responsible for certain closing costs such as Title search, title insurance, their closing agent or attorney fee, county recording fees and a portion of the transfer taxes. If getting a mortgage then add more fees for buyers side of the transaction. Some States handle certain fees a little different but nowadays it is rare for a seller to pay All buyers closing costs so you did get a good deal in your negotiations with seller of your new home. Well, as I said, in our case there was no mortgage. We did pay $22.75 in recording fees. I realize different states do things differently…but this has been the case with all house purchases we’ve made in Georgia, and now Florida, when paying cash.

Yes, it is my understanding that mortgage banks sometimes send an appraiser, depending on the amount you're asking them to provide.... The only mortgage we ever took was in 1973, when we got married, and it was for a young couples special subsidized plan. The flats were build by the Ministry of Housing, which took care of all the formalities, and you had to buy them "as is". It was a small flat, 4rd floor, no elevator... After 7 years we were relocated to Brussels, had very nice salaries for 5 years, saved enough to buy another flat without mortgage 😉
BonTexasNY Posted November 10, 2022 #77500 Share Posted November 10, 2022 The saga of my eye continues. My doctor visit on Wed., a day after cataract surgery determined that a scratch in my eye was causing me so much pain every time I blinked, which was rubbing against the scratch. He explained how the scratch probably happened but not sure why he couldn't see it at the conclusion of the surgery. He numbed my eye, put a contact lens in so that my lid would not rub against the scratch and I walked out pain free. However, as the day progressed I experienced pain again but not as severe as before. This is not the positive experience everyone I spoke to had. All said no pain after. Surgery was Tues and I still have pain and can't see clearly out of that eye. Yet, here I am typing. AND I have to go through this again in 2 weeks to have the other eye done, hopefully with no scratch. On a happy note, my foot (ankle surgery) is much better! Yay! I skimmed through over 10 pages on here and I know I missed a lot. I did note that Greg and Deb have covid and hope both have very mild cases. Marietta, your daughter's beautiful wedding picture saddened me. Continued hugs to the whole family. 17
