Sunny & 64 in my little nook of New York. Very breezy though.

Temps plunging below freezing by tomorrow night.

At 10 pm last night temp outside was still 70f.  I had some windows partially open.  Was very windy early this morning but that has lessened to a nice breeze with current temp of 69f.

Temps to be in high 40s with lows below 32 this coming week....Burr

Tomorrow i will start cleaning out the garage so i can get my convertible back in there for winter.

We are heading to the shore house either next weekend or Thanksgiving weekend since I have off that Friday.  I'm voting for Thanksgiving weekend.

It is 72° and breezy here. Just got home from a bike ride wearing shorts and a t-shirt. The North Atlantic is feeling a bit frisky today thanks to Nicole or whatever that storm was named.

Those are nice pics.  I like the light on the water in the 1st pic and the waves busting against the waves on the others.

Beautiful! I spent one week out in PEI back 2012 considering an opportunity that was offered to me. It wasn’t the right move for me so we didn’t take it but I fell in love with the Atlantic coast and have great visions of one day returning.

When my step-daughter was living in Houston where it seems to be perpetually humid, she would say a Houston 40 feels like a New York 20. 😃

Thankfully, Dallas has nowhere near the humidity Houston has.  We once landed in Houston and we felt the choking, hot humidity just exiting the plane into the attached jetway.  Never stepped a foot outdoors!  I was happy we just had to change planes to continue our journey.

@DaniDanielle  Marietta, a very happy birthday to Charlie!

What about my feet?😁 Seriously though, it was so bright out that I was totally depending on point and shoot then hoping for the best. Fortunately, no selfies or finger in the photos.

Sneak Preview of one of the Cabinets that will be installed starting this Monday.

This Cabinet design was helped by @dani negreanu and her husband (Thanks). The top opening is for the Microwave/2ndOven Combo, the middle Opening below is for a drawer and the opening below you can barely see that is for the Air Duct return. 🙂

Also this picture should give you an better idea of the color of the cabinets  that we will have against the walls, the island will be a different color.

I love pictures of rock walls, boulders, water, you name it!  When I was single and staying in Monterey, Cal. I took so many pictures of all of the huge boulders in the Pacific.  Nature sure is beautiful!

As far as feet in pictures...you see one, you've seen them all...lol..just sayin....😁

I love that cat. I laughed at her love bite she gave you.

She is spoiled. We picked her up from the side of the road on our drive home today about half a mile away from home. She was hanging underneath some blue spruce trees avoiding this… just waiting for Uber mom and dad to get her.

Well, I think you may like to see a few of the pictures that I took earlier today. 😎

It was so beautiful and warm (71° F) and sunny here in SE  “New” England today!!
We took a short ride to the small local beach near us that’s on Narragansett Bay. (It is a bay in RI that flows into the Atlantic Ocean.) It appears that the sea was much calmer up here than it was down where OB was - which is south and west of where we were.

From the time of their engagement Christmas 2019.  They have been saying they wanted a small wedding.   When covid hit they started thinking about doing something outdoors at a park or on the beach in LBI.

Then in 2021 they started looking at buying a house.  They made offers on a couple homes in 2021 and 2022 but were always outbid.   We had offered to gift them money to help with downpayment and closing costs so they would have a more attractive offer to a seller.  They gave up for now with mortgages rates in the 7s and very few homes for sale.

Donna is from a family that has struggled to keep their head above the water since she was little girl so she is very understanding of money and just didn't see the need to "waste" money on a couple hours for a wedding.   She now has a great job and is a great saver.

We are looking at as if they are eloping.

We treated for their cruise last March, their first one.  On that cruise I had suggested maybe get married on a cruise or on a island.   They liked that idea but Donna didn't think her family would be able to attend.

We are treating as a wedding gift the cruise next March.   They are both really excited!!

Yes, it's a shame we won't be there to see their nuptials but we are okay with that and will enjoy a nice dinner with immediate family on Thursday.

I love how supportive you are of their wedding day.  Donna is fortunate to be getting such a wonderful MIL and it sounds like you will have a good relationship with Donna.  Congratulations in advance to them both and enjoy your celebratory dinner.

I love those two chairs.  If I was sitting there, I could imagine myself back in the balcony of a cruise ship looking at the sea, something I love to do.

It wouldn't be a classic OB pic if your pedal extremity wasn't in it.

Now those are good pics.  Did you get the official whistle blown at you?  Looks like you are going to do good with your live review.

No whistles, but probably b/c I don't think there were any officials anywhere to blow a whistle!

Costa Maya's LONG pier is relatively unguarded other than the entrance.

Yes, I agree!

They just appeared one day a couple of months ago - a nice addition. They are a bit weathered and splintery, but fine to sit in as long as you are not in just a swimsuit.

There is a tall flagpole behind the chairs that makes a clanging noise when it gets very breezy. The sound reminds me of the sounds you hear at a seaport.
