Really a mixed message.  People in close proximity, people making physical contact and people wearing face masks.  I just don't see the point of it.  But then I would avoid shows of this type (dancing, singing)  like a plague anyway.-

We disembarked the Volendam on January 5, 2020 after a 44 day cruise to the Amazon and Caribbean.  It was very nice to see many familiar faces including our Cruise and Travel Director, Ian and one of the Lincoln Center Violinists.  Thanks for posting a very upbeat video.

The crew who remain onboard are healthy.  No reported cased of Covid-19 or known exposure, so Social Distancing measures are not needed.  Some crew members may be taking extraordinary measures of their own for their own personal/emotional peace of mind. 

 

I thought this was a great celebration of the spirit of the crew and what they are doing to stay connected to their families and friends, while keeping a positive atmosphere on an otherwise empty ship.
