The orange banner used to say that they have cancelled up to the end of June but now my cruise account says:

We're sailing again!

Although our ships are back at sea, you may still find cancelled reservations in your Upcoming Cruises.

I have the same message and my next cruise is in Oasis sailing Sept. 5 from Bayonne.

This is interesting tidbit.  I guess FCC are more valuable if the 125% apply.

For guests on a cancelled sailing, we're now offering more options.

Below are some options for you, including one that has been very well received by our guests, as it provides a little something extra to use when we all start cruising again!

Future Cruise Credit (Higher Value)

Lift and Shift

Full Refund (Lower Value)

Cruise Planner

Purchases Air & Hotel Purchases

Anything in Asia, South Pacific, Middle East, and South America.

Also any Trans-Atlantic. It is to complicated to sail out of one country and arrive in another right now.

The Covid Delta variant will be roaring to life this Fall in the US so that will probably bring some more, maybe a lot. What happens in India is not staying in India.

Until test cruises are done for each ship and approved I’m expecting more to come.

I am interested in know how long it takes for "approval" from the CDC now that the Freedom finished her test sailing earlier this week.  Hopefully the one for the Odyssey can be set soon and it passes too.

I'd like to now that as well considering her first revenue sailing is in 6 days.

Pure speculation -

I have a B2B in early September  on Brilliance  from  Tampa.  Not optimistic that this ship will sail.  Have not heard any chatter about Brilliance and  someone on the M&M board made a comment about "issues" at Tampa Port.

I thought I read somewhere that they would make comments within 5 days following the completion of the sailing.  I am sure Mr. Bayley's Facebook account will be sharing this info as soon as he receives it.  Fingers crossed all went well and the Freedom can make her first scheduled sailing with paying passengers as scheduled.

Why do you think that?

I was on one of the last ships out of San Juan. They wouldn't let us dock even though there was no one sick on board. The Royal ship had to sail to Miami and the NCL ship to Canaveral to offload the passengers. So they strike me as a much more conservative port. The island still has a lot of restrictions (curfew, capacity restrictions) and entrance is more like flying to another country than the usual US domestic flights. I'd assume they'd wait on cruises until the island eases up some.

Is not in 6 days, not until end the month(July) now because of the 8 crew members with Covid.

Entire ship in in quarantine right now for 14 days.

So the Freedom July 2nd sailing is cancelled?
