What would you spend extra money on?

I prefer to sprinkle the funds around instead of splurging on one big ticket item.

Maybe the 3 night dining package, a treatment in the spa (maybe a massage or simple pedicure at sea as long as the spa has a view - not all the ships do), a really nice fun excursion (depends what island you are on), maybe a unique souvenir that you normally wouldn't buy and will be able to look at or use on a regular basis and enjoy.

Maybe save a little of the money and buy the gift donor a nice present too😍

What type of room are you booked in now? If it's an interior or oceanview, I would upgrade to a balcony or maybe even a Junior Suite. Above that, I'm not sure the difference is worth it. The dining package would be nice. What ports will you be in? Is there something in any of them that you have always wanted to try but couldn't justify spending the money? How about a helicopter tour of one of the islands? That would be very memorable.

My general advice: when you look back on your past cruises or vacations, what are the things that make you the happiest to remember? The yummy food, the exotic location, the wide variety of drinks and entertainment, or your luxurious room/cabin? Whatever forms your fondest memories of past cruises or vacations is where you should put that money for this one.

i would get a nicer cabin.  we usually do ov balcony cabins so a splurge to us is getting the junior suite!  another option would be make this cruise great by booking another one while onboard so you disembark this cruise with another one to look forward to! 😉

Totally agree! Think about what makes YOU happiest onboard and do more of that!

I heard the Casino is an easy place to DOUBLE that money and more! 😆😅

We keep trying that sort of thing and unfortunately the strategy has not worked out so far. But, we've had lots of fun in the trying!

We always book a grand suite or higher, also have restaurant package for all dinners , currently have drink package, but may drop that since we have free drinks in suite lounge and get 5 free drink vouchers since we are diamond plus.

I definitely know how to make use of a drink package but think that with both of those at play it would be hard to get value out of the drink package.

^^ This.

Not knowing what you have booked for rooms or meals it’s like asking someone if they like apples or oranges better. Totally subjective

I would splurge on a bigger room.  To an extent. (Double sink?!  Worth a lot to us). And then I would eat and drink better.

Very fun someone gave you some cash to make your trip better!
