It looks amazing. All the colors blend very well together.  That backsplash looks very unique or something very new on the market?

We had temps in the mid to high 50's the last couple of days but much chillier today.    We had heavy but steady snow flurries for a couple of hours, nothing stuck as the ground is too warm with the mild January we have had.     Freezing temps are on their way here, I think we drop to the 20's as a high tomorrow...burrr

Hopefully we don't have the ice that others have had the last couple of days, Stay Safe😀

I called my son in law Eric to wish him a Happy Birthday. He is at their upstate NY house this week. The predicted weather for Friday is minus 18 degrees.Where I am it will be 5 above.

Thanks for this. I’ve been looking at tiles to redo my backsplash for a while and have never seen this. Very unique and stylish.

Below freezings last couple of days and a least the next day , can’t leave the house. The good thing is my wife is forced to work from home and we will never run out of wine or liquor, might run out of food. Love sitting with a nice wine and or cognac and watching fire .

I heard some talk on the ship about a brawl that broke out in Freedom's casino and shortly after they shut down all the venues. Anyone heard anything? I think they said it is posted on "The book of the front of heads"

That's interesting, I was reading on my balcony this afternoon (just south of PE) and looked up and saw a royal ship. It was not an expected time or position so of course I looked it up on cruise tracker. It allegedly  was Freedom heading to Bimini having just left port Miami. I thought at the time that it must have been a med evac but maybe not.  Didn't think it went to Bimini and track is very interesting.

Population of Bimini is about 2000!

Can't think of a better way to spend a cold winter evening.

Beautiful.  Do you make for yourself or friends & family or sell them?  Three items in a month is impressive.

Thank you. I make for myself, sometimes friends and some donation items.  At Christmas I made hats and mitts for my son, girlfriend and her son.

There is a heavy metal charter on Freedom this week!

I think you caught a virus not food poisoning.   But what do I know....Just glad to hear you are slowly feeling more like yourself now that you are back home.

Gary and I are currently getting over a sickness and diarrhea bug. Think we caught it from our youngest grandson. Both his parents and other grandma also had it. Getting fed up with winter now. This is the third virus in two months. Normally I'm very healthy. Could do with some warm sunshine but nothing booked till May.

May have to book something before

@Jimbosorry you're holiday was spoilt. Its rotten being ill especially when you are away from home

Your new kitchen/home looks beautiful. Well done on project managing/planning the work

Wish I was more 'crafty'

My mum has made some amazing cross stitch pictures,  and it's a reminder of her every day that hangs on our walls.

She was also a very good knitter and made beautiful jumpers for the kids when they were young.

I gave all her embroidery silks and knitting needles away when she died. Wished I had kept some now.

I was thinking of taking up crochet. Does anyone here do that? Is it easy to get started?
