What are the things you ''NEVER'' do on a cruise that other people like.

I have many of these starting with gambling ,the gym (do like the walking tracks),massage , trivia ,the wedding game, door signs, karoke , and matching (or any graphic) T-shirt. What are your ''never do's'' I am probably forgetting some .

I'm with you on all except the tee shirts. Don't mind them and have many graphic t's of all kinds.

I never dress like I am going to clean the garage.

I never wear baseball caps to cover the bald spot.

I never try to eat or drink my money's worth.

I never treat the service staff like servants.

I always speak in complete English sentences.

I never stand in a line.

I never try to be the first to board the ship, nor the first off the ship.

I do not walk around with food or drinks in my hands and mouth.

I never wear graphic t shirts, mainly because I don't own any...........

I never go to the gym

I never lay out directly in the sun.......must be in the shade.

We never gamble. We don't do the extra charge dining. We don't do waterslides, etc.

I never get up at 6 AM and “claim” a deck chair with a towel and then leave for 4-5 hours.

 

I never do shore excursions anymore.

 

I never buy photos, or art.

Definitely everything you listed but I would add I don't to day spas and beauty clinics.

I do not...and will not ever...partake in hiding of ducks.

Oh well, I will quack.  On sea days I do the gym all morning, sun a little then clean up and do a little gambling.
 

 We don’t wear t-shirts except at the beach. I do have a decal on the door just so I know I am home (directionally challenged)
 

However I don’t overeat, I rarely drink, i am pleasant but I am not trying to make new lifetime friends.  I never, ever go to dance shows or other “production” shows. I only go to specialty dining unless my TA gifts a dinner. I don’t eat in the buffet unless the dining room is closed

Well, I will wear a baseball hat because I care about melanoma (had a dear friend die a slow and painful death from it).

 

I don't decorate my door.

I don't do the MDR.

I don't do shows/games/ etc.

I don't cruise to meet people unless they are the locals onshore.

I don't run back to the ship to have a meal "because I paid for it". 

 

After being a slave to the Forbes standards for years, I will not necessarily speak in full sentences - I'll use contractions 😉

"Never" is such a confining state of mind.  For me it's more like "I'd rather not."  But, I'm not adamant about it.  Example, I'd rather not go see a comedian.  But sis likes them and she doesn't want to go alone.  So, I go and we have a good time.  A drink or two doesn't hurt.

 

And I have "never" understood what's the big deal about graphic t-shirts.  In a world where so many women wear jeans that are ripped or where the hem is ratty and uneven and calling it fashion or those god-awful leggings that show every nook and cranny, what exactly is the issue with a t-shirt that has something on it.  I will wear one that was purchased in the last port, but not to dinner.  Well, the buffet maybe, but "never" to the MDR.  That would be tacky.

I don't go to stay glued to my phone, in fact I lock it in my safe.

I have no interest in gambling on a ship, if I want to gamble I go to Las Vegas where I can also see some really good shows. Don't go in the pool, got one at home I rarely go in. Don't eat in the MDR or specialty restaurants, prefer the buffet. Don't go to spa or gym. I do sometimes enjoy karaoke as an observer, not a performer. Also sometimes enjoy trivia. Usually go to the early shows and enjoy a mudslide. I cruise because I love the ocean and I love to travel, so I have my cake and eat it too

I've never been to a show, the gym, the spa, in a pool or hot tub, and I've never gambled in the casino.

 

I'm glad those things are available for the folks that enjoy them, they're just not for me.

Dont enter those game show things....whatever they are called.

 

Dont get involved in dress up nights. Too pretentious for my liking.

 

Dont disrespect staff. They are wonderful people. Especially those that clean my rubbish up.

 

Dont hog a seat at any of the bars making it difficult for others to get served. Some seem to think its their right like they are superior beings. Why have seats at the bars anyway?

 

Dont moan about things that to normal folk are a luxury.

 

Dont complain that its too hot. You went on a cruise to Greece in July you loon.
