Utopia of the Seas Blocks Are In The House!

Recommended Posts

Still no Utopia ship yet on Cruising power.  Guess they are holding true to the Thursday booking date.  Interested in those end Grand Suites:  Bigger than usual?  And (I think) that cruise deck plan website not to be named shows the two GS underneath them to be accessible?  Hard to see but if true good for my family members...image.png.a2f447599415c34d0f830f3c4ca5dac4.png

The 3 & 4 night itineraries are not at all disappointing for many people.

I get that. 🙂  Just voicing my opinion like others.

Some people want a party cruise. Others don’t want to commit to a whole week. Etc.

RCI will benefit very well financially with this decision.  They can get a bigger premium for shorter cruises.  They are sailing to the Bahamas, so spending less on fuel.  There are other cost savings for them doing things this way.  I have no doubt their staggering debt comes into play here.  Hope it helps keep them afloat….pun intended. 😂

one thing that blows my theory of the Utopia deck plans being on above site is that the webcast said that Sky JS were in Suite area.  The current plan shows them on deck 6..  Any insight here?  thx

These JY suites don’t exist

it’s only a myth

Too much noise about these suites and there won’t be any availability for us JY SKY suite lovers to book 😉

I vote for not advertising these much coveted abodes 😎

Happy Days!

Some lucky cruiser won a free cruise for two on the inaugural Utopua sailing.

They are doing the same thing on Jewel on Thursday, I think.

I’ll pass, not at all interested in 3/4 day voyages. The shows were a big draw for us on O class, not many needed for short itineraries— more saved $$$ for Royal.

Completely agree with this. Not to mention, they keep you spending at their private locations (Coco Cay and their new private location on Nassau). It's a smart financial move for RCCL. I also agree that people will pay a premium, meaning they'll see cruise fares that are slightly less or maybe even on-par with a traditional 7 day cruise, but in reality, they're paying more money for less days.

It‘s unbelievable how they manage to squeeze in more cabins and take away more public space with every additional ship. Now the only forward viewing area above the bridge wing is gone as well. God save Allure!

It sounds like many don't like the idea of 3 or 4 night sailings.  I personally love the shorter cruises.  I am not the biggest fan of the Clientele it draws but the short cruise itself is ideal.  4 nights is perfect.  I plan to book tomorrow as soon as I can 🙂

Love that they will have a non-smoking casino.  It will be interesting to see how crowded it gets.  Perhaps someday they will swap out the larger for non-smoking and the smaller for smoking.  I guess it depends on how many smokers cruise and gamble.  🙂

They have or are in the process of converting the Jazz on 4 space on all the Oasis class ships into the non-smoking casino.  I wish they'd make the smaller one the smoking casino, but baby steps, lol.

Also a fan of 4 days cruises but there sure are a LOT of 3/4 day cruise haters on here and other social media sites

I think the shorter cruises are a lot more appealing for those that can drive to them. Not appealing at all for me living on the Westcoast. To make it worth the flight, I would probably need to do, at least a B3B, or a B4B.

Assuming it’s nearly identical to the one on Wonder, it’s very small.

They did that to Oasis, and planned for it on Allure
