Speculation by said DR, however that’s left better contemplated on the other threads. Lord knows there are enough of them. 😉

No, you're not 😁  My b'day coincides with St. Patrick's 😉

 

And birthday wishes are always thankfully received. One of my best friends keeps congratulating me on different dates, usually starting with February 7th and other dates which include 7....

 

This year it was March 7th...

Happy Birthday Dani. A few Irish proverbs* for you:

May neighbors respect you, trouble neglect you, the angels protect you, and Heaven accept you.

 

And my 2 favorite:

May you be at the gates of heaven an hour before the devil knows you’re dead!

May you live to be 100 years, with one extra year to repent.

 

* I have no idea if they are actually Irish sayings but I'm pretty sure I've seen them written on the walls of an Irish pub so that's good enough to me. More accurate than most of the stuff posted on CC.😄

That reminds me of another Irish proverb:

 

"Lie down with dogs and you’ll rise with fleas."

 

Could be a Chinese saying as well.  I might have seen in on a Fortune cookie. But today, everything is Irish.

I suspect that a Chinese dog is more likely to have fleas than an Irish dog.

"The Brussels gang" - those are friends ("embassy wives") I've met during our relocation to Brussels, and it turned out that we all live within a walking distance from each other 😁

 

They took me to a fish and seafood restaurant at our Marina. The "deal" is that you get as many mazets as you like, for the price of the main course.... 

 

The highlight was fish eggs salad with finely chopped fresh onions... we went for seconds and thirds. My main course was coquille Saint Jacques. Divine.

 

Tomorrow my BFF from high school managed to book us with our respective DHs for a special b'fast in Tel-Aviv right on the beach at a very "starred" restaurant. With the morning rush hour, it will take us one hour -- hope it will be worth it.

We walked by the place we have rented for our Christmas/New Year holidays, and pre-cruise home away from home.  Took a couple fresh pictures

I really like this circular bar that opens to the patio overlooking the pool.  I might have to look for a bartender to go with it.
