MSC is on their 3rd successful week in Med.  I suspect that what you are seeing there will reflect very closely what will be expected when the US opens to cruising again.

I don't know much about what MSC is doing in the Med (other than they have 1 ship operating at a reduced capacity) but I'm excited to hear about people's experiences cruising with the major lines out of the USA. Hoping it's sooner than later. If the numbers keep going the way they're going and they can get staff back in time November could definitely be a go. It could also be a complete pipe dream......no one knows for certain yet.

I was over Thanksgiving until I changed it to Easter. Too many issue to go on a cruise that are not answered. Specifically, if anyone gets covid on the ship, will it be permitted to return to a US port? If someone has covid on the ship, are all passengers required to be quarantined by the US government at some facility for 14 days?

Exactly.

And will everyone be cabin-quarantined until return to a port?

We are booked on Vision for 11/25/ 2020.  We used FCC from 2 cancelled cruises to pay for it. I really expect it to be cancelled, just don’t see any US cruises before 2021.

I hope I am wrong!

We are still waiting for cruise to be cancelled.  Our Oct, was cancelled and now just waiting for Nov, to be cancelled  We had a b2b. It is what it is. My Oct. cruise I put in for 125% FCC.  Nov. I think I will just get full refund.

Would like to go, but just think they will cancel all of 2020. We have a b2b in Jan. and Feb., and not sure if they will even cruise.😢

We have Rhapsody on 11/28 free inside from casino. Called about changing to a 2021 date but said no 7night casino available. Guess I am out of luck if doesn't sail. Also have 7night on Brilliance for 12/10/20 booked for balcony thru casino. Bummer.  Not looking good for either cruise.

We have a 16 day "Panama Canal" cruifor still booked with NCL on the "BLISS". Before you all start hating on us as not being on an RCCL cruise. We are Diamond Plus and have had 4 previous RCCL cruises cancelled due to Covid-19. This 1 NCL cruise is all we have left for this year. 🥴😎

We were booked on Harmony for a b2b Nov 1-15, but we cancelled last month.  We're booked again for Nov 2021 (also have cruises in May and Jul 2021 as well as Apr 2022.   We took a 100% FCC for the deposits as we didn't want to make final payment and deal with that as we know they aren't going to happen.  Even if they do, they would be shortened, etc.  I'd rather wait a year to go to FL and do our original plan.

We are on the November 1st Harmony sailing.  Seriously doubt this will happen but if she sails, we will be on board.

We are local (75 minute drive) and retired so we are very flexible.  If the sailing gets canceled, we will take the refund and book something else next year.  Would probably wait to book until we've seen reports of the new experiences sailing post covid.

We're on the same cruise. IF we get to go, we'll be trend setters for sure. We were also on the last cruise in March on the Oasis, 8th - 15th.

Yep.... us too... we have a B2B first one going 1st November from San Juan.... pretty much resigned to it not going.... we can always dream though....

We upgraded flights to business class for very cheap price.... only found out when chose seats we are the only people booked!!!!! Think that might just be a message as to likelihood of the flight going and why it was so cheap!

I sense a period of time from probably next week where we will be just spending time sorting out refunds.... again....

We are booked Nov 20th 9 night Southern Caribbean Explorer of the Seas!!  Not giving up hope.  Really want to go.. even if we just float around for 9 nights!!  Coco Cay or Labadee would be a bonus - we are scheduled to go to Labadee anyway.

According to the website this would be the Explorer's first cruise back in service.

We're booked on a 11/29/20 sailing from San Juan, PR on Freedom.  We made our final payment last week.  And we're fully expecting it to be cancelled in a few weeks.  We did book a "safety" Southern Caribbean cruise aboard Celebrity Edge for December 2021.

I'd suggest that Italy is trending to a new surge and US has a long way to go before it reaches a safe level for cruising.  Won't be before 2021.

US had it's first of what will most certainly be multiple deaths from Sturgis, and a COVID19 on a cruise ship is going to happen soon in Italy.
